Eileen Kernaghan lives in Burnaby B.C. Her short fiction has appeared in Tesseracts 3, Ark Of Ice and
Northern Stars. Her novel Songs from the Drowned Lands
won the 1985 Canadian Science Fiction and
Fantasy Award and her short story "Carpe Diem" won the
1990 Prix Aurora Award for best short form
work in English.. Her latest novel, The
Snow Queen won the 2001 Prix
Aurora Award for best long form work in English.
