Donald Kingsbury was born in San Francisco,
and moved to Montreal in 1948. His short fiction has appeared in Astounding,
Analog, Northern Stars and the
Far Futures anthology. His
novella, "The Moon Goddess and the Son" was a 1980
Hugo Finalist. His first novel, Courtship
Rite, won the 1983
Compton Crook Memorial
Award for Best First Novel of the Year and was a 1983
Hugo finalist. Donald's newest novel, Psychohistorical
Crisis won the 2002 Prometheus
Award.
