| Dr. Robert Runté was born in Edmonton
Alberta and now lives in Lethbridge Alberta. He makes his living as an Associate
Professor at the University
of Lethbridge. Dr. Runté is extensively involved in Science
Fiction. He is a fiction editor for Tesseract
Books. He co-edited Tesseracts 5
(with Yves Meynard). He wrote a short story for the very first issue
of On Spec Magazine in summer
1989 and wrote a guest
editorial for On Spec Magazine in
the Spring 1997 issue.
Robert is also involved with SF Fandom He was founding editor
for two fanzines and has been involved with many SF conventions
including Fan Guest of Honour at Conadian, the 52nd Worldcon.
Most recently; Robert is editor in chief of The NCF
Guide to Canadian Science Fiction and Fandom.
