LDraw Models

Here are my Lego models created in LDraw and rendered using POV-Ray. Clicking on the images will take you to higher resolution versions of the images. You can also download all the models in MPD format. Note that you'll need an LDraw viewer as well as the LDraw core parts library in order to view these models. They can be obtained from the LDraw website.

Androbot: Androbot is a very ambidexterous flying robot. His body hinges and moves at the joints. Unfortunately, he is not very rugged, and falls apart easily.

Light Mech: This is a manned version of the Androbot. It is not equipped for flight, and is useful mainly for sentry and loading/unloading purposes. It is largely useless on the battlefield due to its light armor.

Salt Flats Speeder: Salt Flats Speeder is a record-breaking racing vehicle that cruises the salt lakes of Utah. This small, compact racer is great fun for anyone who loves the thrill of the Earth moving under him. Twin propellors are powered by an engine taken from an old P52 Mustang. The sleek, aerodynamic design and carbon-fiber body allow for high speeds and little drag (or letting go of the throttle!)

Dune Rover: Dune Rover is a very rugged automobile. It can traverse all sorts of different terrain — and will do so at high speeds and with excellent handling.

Red Rock Racer: Red Rock Racer makes its way on the road, off the road, or through any barrior that you might place in its path. Whether man-made or natural, no obstacle is too much for this vehicular powerhouse!

Shuttle: This shuttle is a basic take-off and reentry vehicle. With the aid of twin booster rockets (they attach to the underside of the carriage) the vehicle can ascend into space and reenter the atmosphere under its own power. After reentry, the shuttle can land at any international airport. This shuttle has capacity for a crew of two, three passengers, cargo and whatever scientific devices that may be required.

Yellow Castle: This is a small château — a small, luxurious summer home tucked away in a shaded woodland area.

High Security Plutonium Facility: This plutonium refinery and storage facility doesn't exist - that is, officially. It's been underwritten by questionable sources, and is intendend for questionable uses. It can't be traced through any records or documents. Anyone who knows of its existence or location quickly disappears.

Carriage House: This is an old carriage house that has been converted into a fire station. Vehicles can pull into and park in spaces on the bottom floor. There is an emergency medical facility and lounge on the top floor.

Heads: Shiny happy people laughing
Meet me in the crowd
People people
Throw your love around
Love me love me
Take it into town
Happy happy
Put it in the ground
Where the flowers grow
Gold and silver shine.
