10.01.00- No, I haven't updated in two months. I realize that and I'm incredibly sorry to everyone who was wondering if I had dropped off the face of the earth. The truth is, school's in session and frankly, I caught 'rerun fever' and couldn't work up the enthusiasm to update. But I'll be fine as soon as Season Seven starts. Ooo, three days, I can't wait! But for now, all I have are three little changes to announce. In the Mess Hall, there's the beta version of Destiny's challenge, a little 'Author's Challenge' deal. And the Voyager calenders have been taken down. According to Geocities, that feature isn't all that popular, so it's been tossed out until I can figure a way to rework it to become more appealing. Last of all, Part Two of "Escaping Paradise" is *finally* out! Thanks to all my beta readers for that. And I've reworked the intro page, so that it loads much quicker. Look for another update when Season Seven is underway.
The USS Destiny is an Intrepid-class starship, launched on Stardate 0122.00. Currently she is staffed by a skeleton crew, but is awaiting transfers. The Destiny's mission is to track the USS Voyager and her crew under the command of Captain Kathryn Janeway. Our primary concern is to observe the activities of Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres and Lieutenant Tom Paris and record those observations.
Crew roster:
Captain Lyra - Captain of the USS Destiny during its ongoing mission to observe the USS Voyager.
Commander Mercedesblanca - First officer of the USS Destiny and second in command when Captain Lyra is unable to command.
Lieutenant Commander Dion - Our newest member, third in command of Destiny. I believe that also makes her our Chief of Security.
Lieutenant Lorinn - The head of the USS Destiny's Science department
Lieutenant Dennis - The Engineering chief of the USS Destiny
Lieutenant Pamela - Our resident Doctor. To quote (misquote?) Star Trek: Generations, "Medical staff... Let me guess, arrives on Tuesday."
Lieutenant Kt Mac - Our Chief Conn Officer. Engage, Lieutenant. (Can we call you Helmgirl?)

Destiny:
There are few, if any requirements, to join the USS Destiny. All you have to do is click on the commbadge above and contact me. The usual Starfleet Academy exam will be sent to you (don't worry, it's simple) and on successful completion of the exam, you will be asked to submit a short bio, which includes name, rank, and department (command, engineering, science, etc.) Your posting will be completed within a few weeks of receiving said bio and you will receive the insignia of the USS Destiny to display on your own webpage as well. All members of the USS Destiny will be invited to join the USS Destiny at Yahoo! Clubs and to participate in round robins.
