Prologue |
The crowd roared through the mountain pass, thousands in numbers, roaring and cheering on. |
"Shiva! Shiva!" they screamed with all their might as the watched the arena below. Strong below a battle arena, served by gladiators, a pit of death some would say. |
In there a human stood holding a short sword his chest bare and slashed with cuts his shirt ripped beside him. In front of him, a massive horror stood a creature of huge proportions, brutal and kin, covered with fur from toe to skull, frowning teeth and powerful jaws clinching in threat. |
The creature was known as Shiva, a Nightrrak, half-man half-wolf, brutal and merciless, he faced another victim within the closed arena, the crowds shouting his name, as his lust for blood grew. |
Shiva studied his prey with ease his eyes glistering with horrifying greed, drool ran down his jaws as the human weak and terrified as he took his balance through him passing shivers through the human's body. The human swung his weapon in a low arc hoping to knock the creature out of balance, the crowd gored in his ears flushing his concentration and his swing went crude and with flaws toward the creature's waist. |
Shiva though not in thought of dodging the weapon drove foreword talons bared through his paw hands and tore a cut through the human's sword arm knocking him powerless with his weapon to a painful shout. The human as times before fell once more another slash driven through him, he knew the beast was toying with him, enjoying his pain, and in last desperation and fury he gathered the remaining of his strength and charged on with a desperate battle cry. |
Shiva dodged the fury struck human easily bouncing behind him the creature rose tall pulling two deadly sword daggers from his side belt, the best struck forth stabbing upward into the unprepared human's back. The two massive blades struck under the human's shoulder blades, Shiva applied his own strength into pull, and the blades drives through the shoulder blades slashing the bone and tissue driving the arms apart form the shocked body. |
The human snapped in pain as the daggers rose his body into mid air spiking him on, and then Shiva with a final charge stroke his teeth deep into the human's neck ending his attempted shout with a grievous silence. Shiva felt the taste of flesh drive through him and he closed his eyes with joy. He then driving the daggers back into his hands, he lifted the human with his teeth by the neck tilting him madly as a wolf tilts a rabbit pray, and with a spit sent the motionless crashed body to the cold floor. |
The beast then, blood drooling through his mouth, he roared madly into the night's sky, and the crowd cheered on madly as two guards struck down to remove the defiled body. Shiva roared and growled on, his gaze went to one place only, to the chambers rising above the arena, and with the crowd subsiding, the Nightrak gathered a cloak and still watching the chambers above he disappeared into the shadows. |
In the chambers above, carrying a dozen feet above the ground, the selector chamber was committed with four figures standing in whole. |
Up front stood a powerful figure, strength powered and ambition driven; he motioned the continuation of the events as he sat enjoying a meal within his chambers, his adviser settling beside him in gray robes. |
"So well, enjoying the events Lenard? Quite a show I'd say, haha!" the powered man released a laugh as he watched the body below dumped within a furnace with the crowd cheering. |
On the other stricken side of the small chamber, a knight followed step with the brute addressing him he followed suit his armor glistering with the symbols of Lily and Skull. |
"Phirox, with all respects sir, but don't you think that the continuation of the training is more of importance than holding these events?" Lenard stood beside the man known as Phirox Firebane now, and addressed him with a grave voice. |
"Nonsense, morale is just as important as any training, just hear the crowds roar, quite a thrill ain't it?" Phirox released another laugh as the attending below began to arrange for the next event. |
On the other side within the gathered shadows, a last figure stood his eyes glistering with knowledge, the man was a dark mage, known to all as Sarian Tigerhawk, he took less interest in the events occurring around him. His focus was on a ring settled on his hand, he was bestowed to marry the brute's daughter, the woman Sylvia Nightshade and his heart pondered with thinking of her, and he smiled sternly as he watched the events taking place below him. |
"What is next to take place sire?" Sarian asked coarsely as he turned his balance from foot to foot. |
"Well it seems we are having an execution." Phirox smiled at this as he pulled his arm to his plate drawing another loaf of meat. |
"What will be the charges for this one sir?"The knight questioned as he watched the settings conducted below. |
"Charges? How would I know knight? All I know is that a gladiator gore event is never the same without an old fashioned execution. But if it troubles you as much, prosecutor, why don't you tell our knightly friend here of what ever charges are being redeemed below." The brute took another bite into his meat piece and mouth full spat orders as the gray robed man shivering reached for a scroll near by looking through it frantically. |
"Eh, Jatson Shadowglade is being executed in charges of treason, and escape attempt from the black sun's order." The gray robed man managed to mumble as he folded the scroll down to size once more. |
"Jatson Shadowglade??? That is impossible…" The Knight reached forth to snatch the scroll his face overtaken by surprise. |
"That's is what is written within the scroll sir knight," the gray robed man answered in reply with a quick tongue. |
"But," Lenard tried to reason. |
"No but Knight, I am going to enjoy a man's head being clipped, and I don't want to hear another word of it!" Phirox snapped as he snatched the scroll back from the Knight's reach, and Lenard his eyes worried in some escaped Sarian's gaze who came upon him, and the chamber company looked below as the execution carried on. |
In the mountain path below, a man was led by chains beaten from behind with every step as he tumbled through the dark mountain passes. The man's name was Jatson Shadowglade, a warrior mercenary, brown hair fell flowing to his shoulders and his deepening eyes guided him straight as he followed through into the gazing sun above. Jatson heard the crowd roar as he was pushed into the arena tied and chained. |
Many times before he heard the same roar, as he wrestled and fought within this same arena, he tried to escape a doomed end only to fall into another and he watched the execution stand follow closer. |
Jatson's head was placed upon the plank laid in a smack, and the warrior gave notice to two dark figures that came upon him. |
One was dressed in black its hood down revealing a grievous face blinded on one eye, symbols of priesthood carved his robes and his step was slow and easy almost drifting as he came upon Jatson. The other slimmer and shorter was hooded from head to toe, maintaining its stance distant and below the leading dark priest. |
"Last pleas for the traitor?" the taller priest asked in a deep voice as Jatson was lifted to face the cloaked man. Jatson shifted his eye around him, he saw the silent crowd waiting for his fall, his anger filled him, and the chains tying him canceled any choice of escape. |
The executioner was grinning beside him, the huge ax at hold, Jatson's sword tied to his hilt, and the priest before him gave a blunt taunting look as Jatson turned his head to face him his eyes wide. |
"Well?" the dark priest asked impatiently staring into the warrior's eyes. Jatson didn't offer reply and the priest quite irritated signaled the guards behind Jatson and the warrior felt the sharp knees strike his lower back dropping him to his knees. |
Jatson ignoring the pain looked once aside to the executioner who sharpened his bladed weapon, and then another look to the two dark priests before him. He wondered at the younger hooded figure and couldn't make a face, but ignoring that, he rose to his feet and faced the glass eyed priest before him. |
"Here is my plea you bastards, and for all I care, you can go ahead and swallow it!" as Jatson finished his short address his voice sharp and clear, the priest rose his hand to his face clearing the spit that struck him, and slightly irritated, almost furious he turned his robes gathering around him. |
"Very well, the traitor has spoken, execute him, and may his spirit dwell in Abyss!" Jatson's head was slammed once more on the plank as he heard the crowd roar above, he gave notice to the executioner who stepped up the plank his ax glistering in the bright afternoon sun. Jatson noticed the shadows below, that is all he could see, he heard the priest step off, the executioner step slowly on, the crowd still roaring as he noticed the ax shadow casting high lifting above the executioner's head in a deadly arc. |
Jatson closed his eyes then and waited to the sweet end. But the striking blade didn't come down, and the roaring crowd suddenly silenced in shock. Jatson opened his eyes in alarm then and he noticed the executioner by his side laying a dagger through his chest, and the bladed ax driven through his gut. The younger priest stood cloaked from hood to toe a step above the dead executioner, but his questioning eyes took back on his a tongue as an armed guard charged at the cloaked figure who stood unarmed. |
The attacker didn't stand quite long though, as the figure emerged to its side swinging a high foot knocking the gladiator with a spinning heel kick. The gladiator fell his jaw busted, and the hooded figure switched its attention to another attacker with quick arms driving the pummeling arms strike aside and with a strong backhand drove a fist into the man's helmet denting it into his flesh. The man screamed not able to remove his helmet, which blinded him, and with this Jatson managed to rise beyond the podium he stood on and falling on his back he watched the besieging battle. |
The hooded figure managed to dodge two other raving gladiators, but with the quick dodging the hood fell back revealing long reaving brown hair that glistered with the sun's shine. |
"A woman?!?" one of the attackers managed to mumble in shock, but his mumbling was cut short by surprise as driving elbow struck him down splintering his teeth within. |
"Sylvia!!!" Jatson screamed with surprise as he recognized the woman mercenary, fighting her way between the seizing gladiators as the priest backed down from the heating confrontation. |
"Seize them! Seize them you fools, guard those key chains!" the priest screamed orders as a strong warrior took step back beside him, the keys tilting in his upper belt, and the man turned beside the priest guarding with a crude two handed sword in hand. But this warrior was struck by surprise as the priest wrapped his slim arms around the broad neck and gave a snap releasing the warrior lifeless to the ground, the keys left in his bare hand. Another warrior, stalled surprised as he eyed the priest above him, and his commander laying lifeless at his feet, and the priest with a charge ended his speculations as he drove his head into the man's eye peak knocking him to the ground unconsciousness. |
"Having fun down there Jatson?" the priest asked almost taunting, his voice suddenly taking higher pitch almost unrecognizable. |
"What in the name of all Gods???" Jatson tried to maneuver up, but only found his fall with the binding chains around him. The cloaked man then released a few words, and lightning formed between his fingers, surprisingly instead of striking the rebelling woman warrior, he struck on of the gladiators in surrounding, and with a quick step rolled forth to stand upon the laying Jatson, his robes swinging. |
"Missed me Jatson?" The man taunted as he reached to his face releasing a eye lens from the glass eye, revealing shiny light blue eyes, and a wig was tossed to the ground, light blonde hair falling to the man's shoulders his figure changing. |
"Jaxel?? You rat, what do you think you're doing!!!" Jatson spat crawling around as he recognized his old friend coming upon him smiling brightly. |
"Well I'm saving you for one, give me some more credit Jatson, you really thought I'd let you die like this, when there are so many more creative ways to go?" The man named Jaxel smiled brightly as he tossed the keys down to the captive Jatson still firing easy spells around him, the confusion rolling in turmoil. |
Jatson didn't hesitate, he grabbed the keys with a quick hand releasing his binding chains, and with a leap jumped upon the podium where the executioner's body laid, and pulling down from the dead man's hilt, he grasped his sword striking down at the seizing warriors around him. The crowd now cheered on once more, the cheering voices roaring through the mountain pass as the attempted escape raged below. |
Up above in the high chambers, a dark cloaked figure took alarm and vanished with the shadows, Phirox and Lenard following down the mountain pass. |
Down below, Jatson slashed and fought with high spirits the crowd's cheers carrying him on as he came beside Sylvia the two battling with force, Jaxel struck two short swords and backed into the pass his lightning spells blasting through the halls. |
"Move it old ladies if you want to live through this experience you better drag your feet and get those damn gates." Jaxel teased as the three battling maintained the short pass in the mountain leaving the roaring crowd sounds behind them. |
Jatson struck his sword to the lever beside him the gates dropping behind him, and with a quick roll and stab he struck the two remaining guards whom crept under the snapping gate, only to find the taste of Jatson's fury steel blade. |
"Sylvia are you all right?" Jatson leaped forth supporting the woman who tumbled forth her shoulder baring a slashed cut. |
"I'm all right Jatson, it's just a scratch." |
"You know you shouldn't have come here, we are all going to be killed now!" Jatson snapped cleansing his sword over his boot as he reached a supporting shoulder under Sylvia. |
"Eh, love birds, if you don't mind, those gates won't hold long, and my little plantation won't hold them long either, we better use this way, and move!" Jaxel hopped with agility the dark cloaks striped behind him, he was now dressed with a leather vest and longings, a light brown cloak following with his quick steps, a torch in hand, leading the way. |
Jatson pulled Sylvia to her feet letting her lean upon his arm, and with a quick step followed Jaxel through the dark halls as he watched back smiling at the little triggering traps Jaxel placed under the bared gates. The three rebels ran through the dark halls, soon enough the explosion sounded alerting the escaping companions that the gate has been knocked down and they increased the pace Jaxel in lead. |
"Hurry up guys, those smoke targets won't hold them up long and…" Jaxel suddenly halted in his speech and stopped his step holding a signaling hand to the following two. |
"What is it Jaxel?" Sylvia whispered as Jaxel handed her his torch drawing a short sword. |
"Hush girl, were not alone," Jaxel pulled a short arm in front of the woman mercenary hushing her. |
"What's wrong Jaxel?" Jatson was the one this time to rush by the younger warrior torch in hand. |
"I don't know, but something is stalking us in the shadows." Jaxel shifted his arm to grasp the hilt of his short hand his feet balancing. |
"We don't have time for this Jaxel, we got to get moving." |
"No!" Jaxel screeched pulling away from Jatson who tried to take hold of his shoulder. A sudden shiver passed then as Jatson came beside his younger friend and his spine shrieked with uncomfort as he turned to face the darkening shadows his sword drawn in his right. |
"Move on Jatson." Jaxel whispered still staring into the shadows. |
"What are you talking about?" Jatson asked as he eyed his friend wearily his confusion bared, but his questions were cut short as a low growling sound was released within the darkness. |
The three moved their gaze as the shadows took form creating a huge beast moving with stalking silence eyeing their every move. Fur covered the creature from foot to toe and it carried above 7 feet tall, the grinning teeth and glistering eyes lusted the pray and battle, and the creature dressed with a blue cape drew into the borders of light. |
"Shiva!?!" Sylvia whispered with horror tumbling back still supported by Jatson's broad shoulder. The beast didn't halt as for a second and charged with drawn fangs toward the shocked warrior who was forced to dodge back with his sword tossing Sylvia gently to his side covering her. |
The creature's first strike knocked Jatson back leaving him open for the second strike which he could not dodge or block. But the creature's final strike was cut short as a young blonde haired mercenery jumped forth two short swords drawn striking the reaching fangs as they were aimed to strike the older warrior's flesh. |
"Get out!" Jaxel screamed as he drew another sword in his left hand chiming them into each other and he balanced his body to face the monstrous beast. |
"NO!" Jatson screamed as he waved his sword in a low arc trying to bang the creature's balance through its knees, but Shiva dodged the strike shoving the sword arm aside and with a powered paw punched Jatson to the ground below him. |
"Just get out damn it!" Jaxel again came in Shiva's way blocking its attack upon Jatson, striking the creature's massive arms not penetrating the thick skin layer with his sword strikes. |
"I will not leave you here." Jatson rose to his feet once more grabbing his sword he struck at the beast that forcefully backed away from the warrior only to drive another charge. |
Jaxel once more jumped in the monster's path, he managed to strike away one powerful fanged paw away with his stronger sword arm, but Shiva's momentum served its purpose as the other paw struck Jaxel in his bared shoulder. Jaxel screamed as he felt the talon dig into his flesh, and Shiva tossed him to the ground below growling with amusement as Jaxel lifted himself once more to face the creature. |
"You do me no good here Jatson. Get out, take the girl, I got this one." Jatson heard his friend speak fainted, and he drew his focus to Sylvia who was leaning nearly fainted against the wall beside him. |
The warrior's thoughts were in turmoil, he eyed his younger friend his eyes holding conflict. Jaxel noticed Jatson's eyes and drawing his strength despite his injuries he rose a sword and struck forth at the beastly figure. Shiva pulled two sword-daggers from his belt blocking the man's ravaging sword swings, and Jaxel kept striking from left to right his swings driving in sparks and he battled down striking the beast who let him devour his own strength. |
Jatson tried to leap forth but he heard then the clashing sound, and Jaxel's sword fell to the ground, Jaxel dropping upon it stabbed through the side the beast flocking above him haunting in appearance. Jaxel rose his gaze and noticed Jatson staring behind him horrified, and blood coarsed down his lips as he rose once more to his knees supporting his weight up hardly. |
"Get out you fool, NOW!" Jaxel screamed this time followed with pain as he felt the two penetrating blades drive through his sides and he screamed in pain horrified. Jatson gulped and hesitating drew forth, his friend falling battling ahead, and then gulping the orange eyes shifted upon him, and a chill flew through him as the beastly eyes passed upon him, hunger lust in pass. |
Jatson drew a step back then in final draw his sword in arm, and grabbed on to Sylvia who was leaning half fainted against the solid wall, and with a pull to her feet he carried on with a quick step Sylvia dragged by his side. |
Jaxel turned frantically, he tried to raise his short sword up, but it was soon knocked out of reach by Shiva's powered blade. The other blade soonly struck the younger warrior under the elbow, driving through the soft tissue, with that Jaxel lost sense of his right arm. |
Jaxel blinked in pain, too shocked to scream, he felt hairy powerful arms lift him by the shoulder, fangs tore into his flesh and blood overflowed into Jaxel's eyes, clouding his thoughts. He looked down at the grinning teasing orange yellow eyes and with movement of his eyesight he noticed Jatson hesitating in the halls dragging Sylvia after him. |
"Get OUT!" Jaxel screamed blood flowing out of his mouth. He noticed Sylvia reaching forth and the older warrior behind her grabbing her arm holding her back. Jatson gave a last glance then his face grave as he heard the booming roars of their pursuers down the halls, and with a slow step pulling Sylvia with him; Jatson disappeared around the curving halls. |
Jaxel released a kick forth knocking himself away from the wolf man, and he landed wearily on his feet. The young warrior drove forth swinging a flaming torch as he picked it up, but Shiva backing up from the flames, charged forth knocking the torch to the ground behind him, the flames sizzling in the dirt. A blade pierced through Jaxel then, as smooth as a buttering knife, in determined accuracy and might right under his ribs. |
Jaxel tried to grip Shiva's first arm away pulling the short powerful blade, but soon enough Shiva with an evil grin drove the other blade with equal ferocity through his other side of his rib cage. Jaxel felt his body merciless pinned against the wall, and soon lifted up by the pinning blades. He felt the blades press under his rib cage, crackling with threat, the pain was unbearable and blood washed to the floor under, as Jaxel's vision became blur with blood and fury. |
"Me..r..cy???" Shiva sizzled with a drooling mouth; the eyes teasing at his victim pinned helplessly above. |
"Screw you!" Jaxel offered reply spitting upon the creature's face. Blood and spit hit Shiva's face, and the beast licked the warm substance, and with a roar stabbed upward with force, laughing cynically through the halls. |
The two blades cut through Jaxel's ribs splintering him within, the warrior felt his bones clash from his spine, and in final resort he felt the blinding calming darkness overcome him. In last serving of strength, he screamed in pain, his agony carried within as he finally felt Shiva's teeth pierce into his neck. |
****** |
Jatson ran through the halls, Sylvia dragging tumbling behind him, and then a scream carried with agony reached the two renegade's ears. Jatson twisted in pain within hearing the inhumane scream, and Sylvia couldn't help but place her hands on her ears and a sob released her lips. |
Jatson gulped down the rising tears and his anger as well, and he reached foreword grasping Sylvia's shoulder, and with his sword at hand he carried her foreword through the pass that opened into light. The two walked through the lighted path, the late summer sun striking above, and with the blazing sun and incoming troops, a dark figure emerged above the pass, his robes swinging cloaking his figure. |
Sarian watched below, he noticed Jatson following through, and he noticed the incoming guards coming to seize them, and Sarian stepped down in haste through the boulders to reach the heating confrontation. |
Jatson was the first to notice the armed guards coming around the curve, he settled Sylvia to the side pulling his sword forth, he prepared for the charging guards. The first one struck him with a turn swing his long sword creating a deadly arc. |
Jatson managed to block the shot, and turning his own sword down he pulled the attacking sword in a crossing and with a charge forth he busted the attacker's face with a wide shoulder. The next to follow lifted a mace in purpose to strike the warrior, but his hand fell scared as Jatson's blade drove though its back, and the attacker felt the fury cold steel drive through his gut then and he fell motionless to the ground. |
With the last one falling, three more guards appeared around the curve, and the roaring sounds of a chasing mob came from behind, Jatson ran forth to engage the remaining guards, Sylvia following weakly. |
The guards tried to avoid Jatson's charging blade, one stood up to him only to be fast cut down as Jatson pierced his chest with the powerful blade. Sylvia encountered the remaining two, the first swung his blade above her shoulder, and Sylvia even though still weak managed to dodge the swing and by grasping the yielding arm she held fast the arm base and hand. |
Sylvia lifted a powerful knee then and with a powerful blow she drove her knee up striking the elbow, breaking the arm at its mid fraction. The man screamed as his blade fell to the floor, and his shout ended short as Sylvia turned his own blade against him driving it through his ribs ending the airflow to his lungs, and he fell dead. |
The last warrior seeing his comrade's fall threw his blade to the ground, and with a scream pulled back running through the pass withdrawing. But he didn't run far as lightning bolts came flying from above, and the man fell defunct as the lightning force struck him to the ground. Jatson looked up in surprise for the lightning source, and his eyes suddenly opened wide as he noticed a dark cloaked figure from above, lightning sizzling at its fingers, and the two exchanged glances as the figure turned to eye the warrior below. |
"Sarian!" Jatson shouted as he recognized the figure, and with a battle cry Jatson lifted fast and charged forth toward the dark mage from above. Sarian noticed Jatson's howl, he gave no care for the coward who he struck below, his focus was now at the charging figure, and a spell came to his mind, and his chanting began, the magic force flowing through him as a beaming aura surrounded him ready to strike. |
"Sarian, NO!" a voice penetrated Sarian's concentration. |
"Sylvia.." Sarian mumbled as he opened his eyes noticing the woman mercenary, his bride, come beside the older warrior, his fury drove him beyond himself, but his concentration slipped and the spell sizzled away in his thoughts and hand as he felt the power drain slowly out of his body. |
Sarian noticed with shivering madness how Sylvia pulled the warrior to her side, and the warrior giving a hesitant look at him, finally took turn and the two drove down the mountain pass. Sarian cursed for his failure, he felt weak and paralyzed, but he took the strength to drive himself to the end of the boulder he was settled upon to eye the escaping couple below. |
He noticed then a pack of cloaked Mages settle upon the guard tower awaiting the renegades' pass, and he heard frantically the spell words whispered through the wind as the vibrant aura forces shifted through the air. Sarian opened his eyes wide noticing the Mages prepare for their spell their aim at the two characters below. |
"No! They might harm Sylvia!" Sarian said aloud, frenzied as he settled back to his feet, and with last focusing he concentrated the words summoning before him, and with a pointing hand, his hand released berserk lightning striking the mountain boulders above the watch tower. |
Sarian watched the mage's spell fail, probably fallen victim crushed under the falling boulders which buried the tower, and then his notice shifted to the two escaping rebels looked up surprised in shock and followed their step hectic toward the unguarded gates. |
Sarian noticed Sylvia halt her step and look back as of for a moment her eyes wide and hesitant. He truly believed that she would come back to him, and he would forgive her for her betrayal, but the mage's heart sank as he glared at the warrior grabbing hold of the woman warrior dragging her through the gates where they disappeared into the plains. |
Sarian fell to his knees weeping, the tears swiping him away in mix of fury and agony and then he heard steps beside him, and he rose his glance taking control over himself. Sarian quickly recognized Phirox Firebane, the brute carried a heavy step through the boulders, and the Knight followed by his side in an ever-elegant matter. |
"What happened here?" Phirox questioned in a harsh tone as he came upon the mage who stood up to face him. |
"They… they escaped master" Sarian managed to mumble holding his tears back in pride. |
"Well I don't need a mage to tell me that Sarian, but HOW did they escape?" Phirox took a climb settling upon a higher boulder as he looked below to the plains horizon and noticed two running spots turning through the plains. |
Sarian gulped down his words, his agony over striking him as he followed Phirox's gaze down the plains, and he turned his balance from foot to foot, trying to maintain his strength at check. |
"Should I send the cavalry after them sir? They couldn't get far." Lenard was the one to speak this time as he came by Phirox's side his armor clanging. |
"No, we shall not waste time on such matters, we have an army to raise, we will deal with this later. As for you Sarian, you will pass my judgment soon enough." Phirox his tone deep he gathered his cloaks, and in final turn, his mighty sword in sheathe he pulled away walking down the pass. |
"I said follow along Sarian!" Phirox repeated then his eyes sharpening with the knight turning beside him; Sarian's focusing dark eyes wondering into the vanishing plains. |
"Take him!" Phirox cursed and two crude plainsmen took step beside Sarian, two jolted spikes held close watching for the mage to rise. |
Sarian gathering his cloaks as well swallowed his pride, and with his eyes closed he followed the brute down the mountain his thoughts in the plains, agony overcoming him for his loss. |
Lenard held his step, and he stared at the plains below, his eyes still followed the two figures going through the dusty plains, and his eyes closed in old memory. |
"Jatson, you really have done it this time, may the gods guide your every step." Lenard smiled slightly as he pulled his sword to shine in the midday beaming sunlight, and with a pull he saluted the horizon as the two figures finally disappeared into the dusk of dawn. Lenard pulled away his face grave and he stepped down the boulder his final words sealed on his lips, as he looked one last time backwards in whispering…. |
