Welcome to the MAKO Battalion Coast Guard JROTC web page.

    The Coast Guard JROTC is a four year elective (Marine Science I-IV) at the MAST Academy on Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida. We are the only Coast Guard JROTC, and as such we do things that no other JROTC has ever done. Over four years we learn about the real Coast Guard, what they do and how they work, and participate in all sorts of hands on activities. What's New

June 10

• Cadets take a three-day ride on the Coast Guard sailing-ship Eagle.

June 14

• Summer Vacation begins at 3:15! 

June 24-30

• The Yorktown trip begins, and 20 MAST Academy student will be off on a three-week long trip to the Coast Guard training camp in Yorktown, Virginia. Cadets go through boot camp, experiencing Coast Guard food, physical training, drill, and classroom activities.
