Someone on the message board suggested something. Perhaps images were being called for, but I don't do images, only stories, unless you want stick figures or something. :) So, when it comes to the odd idea as a story, I guess you could say I'm the odd person to give it a shot. Power Puff Girls with snakes, I tried to forget the idea, but it was one of those things where the muses wouldn't leave me alone until I did it. So, if the muses want me to suffer, I'll let them do the same by attempting to write the thing, :) here we go, sorta. I think I've gathered enough knowledge of Power Puffery to do a reasonable job, please ignore any misspellings or incorrect character names. If I call Professor Nutonium Dr. Nutonium, you know who I mean. :) Cartoons aren't my norm, but chuckles are, and as the great philosopher Socrates once said, "I drank what?!"

Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice. These were the ingredients chosen to make the perfect little girls. However, Professor Nutonium accidentally added a 4th ingredient, Chemical X,... and the Power Puff Girls were born. Now Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup use their ultra-super powers against the forces of evil.
a) The city of Townsville, or more accurately the airport of Townsville. And who's that coming down the stairs from the airplane? It's Lamia Love, the most glamorous movie star in the world, and former Miss Townsville. She's come home for a few months after finishing her latest blockbuster film, 'Tarzana, Lady of the Gorillas'. Everyone has turned out to meet this hometown heroine, even the Power Puff Girls who are moving her 16 piece set of super-king sized luggage, and 22 crates of souvenirs from her last shoot for her. Into the waiting luxury truck it goes, while cameras click, and the Townsville TV news records everything, and Lamia Love smiles while signing autographs. Finally the truck drives off, and Blossom holds the rear door of the super-stretch limo, while Bubbles spreads more red carpet for Lamia Love to walk on, and Buttercup makes sure the crowd stays behind the rope. Lamia Love gets into her limo, and it speeds off. What a wonderful start to a wonderful day.
That Evening back at the Home of Professor Nutonium, "Isn't she so beautiful?" Bubbles says as she sits on the couch. "Definitely!" agrees Blossom. "And did you see that blonde hair, and I don't know how she fits in that jungle costume for the movies." Buttercup flies in and plops down in a fighting position on the rug, "She does her own stunts too, like when she fought all those smugglers, or that big lion, or remember when the giant snake tried to squeeze the life out of her?!" Buttercup gasped and faked struggling with a snake around her throat, and Bubbles squealed while covering her eyes. Buttercup sneered, "what's the matter Bubbles, I thought you liked animals." "I do." Bubbles said shyly. Buttercup leaned towards the couch, "Even cold, slimy, scaly giant snakes that try to crush the life out of you?!" "N-n-no." Bubbles said as defiantly as she could. Buttercup gagged and went through her strangling routine, and Bubbles squealed and covered her eyes again. Blossom put a hand on Bubbles, "Stop it Buttercup, you know snakes aren't slimy." "Why should I?" Buttercup snapped with hands on hips. "Because I'll tell the Professor." Blossom announced. Buttercup turned and mumbled as she left. The Professor entered the room, "Girls, time for bed." "AWWWWW." went all 3 girls. The professor smiled, 'Now girls, you've had a hard day, moving all that luggage, escort duty, all that, time to get some sleep. Tomorrow's a school day." The girls sulk as they float in single file into the next room, where the professor tucks them in for the night.
On the darkened streets while everyone else sleeps, a rented luxury car pulls up to the tall tower at the center of Townsville, home of that evil plot maker Mojo Jojo. A tall figure in a trench coat, hat and sunglasses, and carrying a briefcase steps out of the backseat, and rings the bell. "Come in." calls a deep voice. The figure enters, and uses the usual elevator to enter Mojo's secret laboratory.
Mojo faces the figure across his lab while straightening his turban and pajamas, "What do you want, you are not supposed to be here until tomorrow. I was just preparing to go to sleep." "I'm here for the formula." said the female figure with long blonde hair. Mojo sighed, "I have the formula, but you were not supposed to come until tomorrow. Tonight is for sleep, that is what I was doing. If I sleep I cannot give you the formula, that is why you weren't to come over until tomorrow, so that tonight I could sleep, as I was just attempting to do." The tall figure looks Mojo in the eyes, "But I am here now, so give me the formula now. Then you can go to sleep, because you will have given me the formula. I won't have to come tomorrow to get the formula, you will have already given it to me before you went to sleep." The figure pulls off her glasses and hat, revealing the face of Lamia Love, "Now you've got me talking like you, just give me the formula like we agreed on the phone, I've got your money here!"
Mojo grins at the site of her opening the briefcase, revealing that it was full of money. Lamia Love then puts the briefcase on a table while Mojo goes over to a row of test tubes near his high powered atom smashing laser. His eyes widen and he laughs menacingly as he picks up a flask of greenish fluid, and hands it to her. She takes the flask and looks at it, "Is this enough?" Mojo smiles, "More than enough, just 2 drops will do the trick for 24 hours. You have enough there for a large gang for a year, or just you for the rest of your life. This is my latest creation, I made it while trying to invent a way to duplicate the abilities of the Power Puff Girls for longer periods of time. I call it, 'Chemical K' It's a very special formula, you must be careful when using it, follow the instructions I gave you exactly! No more than 2 drops since more will not increase your power or the length of time. You or whoever you give some to will not have all the puff powers, but strength, speed, resistance to physical damage, and the ability to fly will be yours." Lamia Love nods her head, "Yeah yeah, special chemical K, follow exactly, I get it. Now with this formula I will be unstoppable. Those responsible for my pain will pay!"
She throws back her head while she laughs, and Mojo rubs his hands together, "Your very beautiful when you laugh evilly like that, why would such a beautiful person with your talent and fortune want to destroy the Power Puff Girls, not that I am complaining of course?!" Lamia Love makes sure the flask is sealed tightly, then tucks it into a pocket, "I suppose it won't hurt to tell you. Back when I was Miss Townsville, the city had me going on all sorts of publicity tours, this was before the Power Puff Girls were here of course. Part of the tour had me go to the huge city laboratory being run by Professor Nutonium at the time. He was very nice, and showed me his latest project, the Molecular Rearranger and Transporter, or MRT." Mojo's eyes widened, "I tried to make one of those once, I could not do it." Lamia Love frowned, "Neither could he apparently, he said it wouldn't work right. After breaking things down to their individual atoms, then transporting them after converting them to energy, the machine turned them back into atoms but couldn't put them back together right." Lamia Love sighed, "The photographers asked to take pictures of me in one of the chambers, and the Professor agreed to allow it, swearing the machine was disconnected and perfectly safe. I climbed inside, the photographers took pictures, and someone accidentally pressed the activation button. Apparently it was not unplugged, and my atoms were broken down, converted to energy, and rearranged in a chamber at the other end of the room."
"You seem unharmed." said Mojo. "Yes, I do." Lamia Love agreed. "The city paid for all sorts of tests, they proclaimed me to be fine. Professor Nutonium never was able to repeat his one successful transport, and eventually scrapped the project. I went on to my movie career, and so on." Mojo scratched the top of his turban, "So, what's the problem?" Lamia Love narrowed her eyes, "This!!", and within seconds her body from the waist down had turned into that of a 15 foot long serpent tail protruding from underneath her trench coat. "From what I've been able to learn, the professssssssssssor had done hissssss lasssssst experiment jusssssst before I arrived, attempting to transsssssport a ssssssnake. Ssssssomehow there wassssss ssssssomething of it left in the machine, and when I went through we were mixed together." She waved her arms at her tail, "Now I can call thissssss tail up whenever I want, and I have to ssssssleep with it out like thissssss. I've alsssssso got this forked tongue when I have the sssssserpent tail, and it givessssss me a terrible lissssssp." Lamia Love crosses her arms, "Naturally I want to take my revenge on Nutonium, but firsssssst I musssssst desssssstroy his girlssssss or they will sssssstop me, bessssssides they desssssserve to die becausssssse he made them."
Mojo smiles, "Yes, that is a plan I can enjoy also, for I also would see the Power Puff Girls destroyed. How will you do this. Lamia Love smiles, "I have many ssssssnakessssss hidden in the crates I brought with me to Townssssssville, they lissssssten to me now that I am half sssssserpent mysssssself, and I undersssssstand them. I will usssssse the formula on them. Imagine Townssssssville being attacked by ssssssuper sssssstrong ssssssnakessssss that can fly. The Power Puff Girlssssss will naturally be called, and when they arrive my sssssserpentssssss will desssssstroy them. I mysssssself will then go to Professssssssssssor Nutonium and desssssstroy him." She flipped her hair, "After that I don't care too much what happenssssss. I ssssssupposssssse I'll take over the city. I'm a sssssstar though and don't have time to run a city, I'll figure ssssssomething out." Mojo moved close, "I would be pleased to run Townsville for you, it would be a most pleasing thing to do, bringing pleasure to both of us. You are a most pleasing woman to look at, and I'm sure working for you would be a great pleasure." He smiled and moved closer to her, "Perhaps, we can get to know each other a little better." Lamia Loves tail whipped around Mojo's hairy chimp body twice, and his eyes bulged and tongue protruded as she squeezed him. "I don't think sssssso, but maybe." she said, then with a twitch of her tail she tossed Mojo into a trash receptacle. Lamia Love resumed her human shape and put the rest of her disguise back on. As she began to leave Mojo Jojo peered out of the trash receptacle, "I suppose dinner is out?"
In the morning Townsville wakes to a brand new glorious day. Bees are buzzing, birds are chirping, and Lamia Love stands in her penthouse before her army of serpents, wearing her jungle outfit. "My children, it is time for us to crush Nutonium and take what is rightfully ours, the city of Townsville!" she says to them. "Are you ready to do so?" The many giant pythons, boas, and a few others all nod there head in agreement, and Lamia Love begins her work. Each snake opens it's mouth before her, and she uses an eyedropper to give each one 2 drops of chemical K. When done she continues, "Now remember, you will attack the people of Townsville, but do not kill with super speed, so they have time to call for help. Most of all, do not eat, you must have room for the Power Puff Girls later. After they have been dealt with, you may eat them, then I will let you all feast on Townsville residents." The serpents nodded and hissed, and Lamia Love smiled "I will destroy Nutonium myself, you must not touch him!" The serpent army nodded again, and Lamia Love gave an evil laugh, "Go my children, attack Townsville!" One by one the snakes flew out the window, the first smashing it to fragments. Lamia Love looked at the shattered window, "I knew I forgot something, now I have to call a window repair man."
In the park a man and woman sit on a bench holding hands and kissing,, when suddenly a giant anaconda flies in and ensnares them both, squeezing them as they call for help. In a field, boys and girls run from a giant flying python, which ultimately grabs a man who has just stood from where he and his wife sat on a picnic blanket. The python carries him off to a nearby tree to squeeze him to death, while the woman on the blanket screams for help. A man washing windows on a skyscraper suddenly finds himself carried off in the coils of a giant boa constrictor, which squeezes him in mid flight while he calls for help. A flock of giant snakes swoops over Townsville beach, and while people run screaming across the sand, the serpents fall upon them, catching the slower ones. A woman opens her closet to find a giant cobra inside, and she only gets out one shriek as the serpent proceeds to hypnotize her. A large python flies by the tower of Mojo Jojo, he stands outside on his balcony watching it approach, his cape flapping in a gentle breeze as he points to the sign around his neck reading, 'I am Professor Nutonium.', so the snake turns and leaves. "Stupid reptile, you are no match for the superior intelligence of Mojo Jojo! That is why you are the stupid snake while I am the intelligent superior being!" says Mojo in disgust.
In the Mayor's office the shapely Miss Bellum rushes in, "Sir, the city is under attack by flocks of giant flying snakes!" "Shouldn't that be herds of giant flying snakes Miss Bellum?" replies the Mayor. She hurriedly continues, "They're flying sir, so naturally I said flocks, but that's not important right now." "Of course it's important!" he insists. "You deal with flocks differently than you do herds." Miss Bellum sighs, "Sir, I think in either case we need to call the Power Puff Girls!" The Mayor stands up, and walks to Miss Bellum's side, looking up at the woman who towers over his short body, "Are you sure the police can't handle this one?" "I don't think they can handle this one sir!" she says patiently. The Mayor looks out the window, seeing a few snakes flying around, "It does look a bit bad." A python crashes through the window and attacks Miss Bellum. She screams, and while struggling on the floor with the beast she blurts out, "Call the girls sir!" The Mayor moves to his phone and picks up the receiver, while Miss Bellum is already wrapped in several coils starting near her knees, with one covering her face, "Mmmmm Mmm Mmmmm, mmmm mmm mmmmm mmmm mmmmm!"
The emergency phone with the clown's face at the Nutonium home rings, the clown's nose flashing in time with a buzzer. Blossom answers as usual, "What Mr. Mayor, flocks or herds of giant snakes are attacking the people of Townsville, and one's got Miss Bellum, and it's squeezing her to death right now. Tell her to stay calm and we'll be right there." As Blossom hangs up she relays the information to her sisters, "Let's go!" "Kick some snake butt!" continues Buttercup. The 3 of them fly out of the window at their best speed.
It takes them only a minute to reach the Mayor's office, at which time Miss Bellum is barely moving. "Oh dear, thank goodness your here!" says the Mayor. The girls all work to pull the snake off Miss Bellum, "Hey, it's too strong to move!" says Bubbles. "Snakes aren't supposed to be this strong!" agrees Buttercup. "They aren't supposed to fly either." Blossom replies. "I'll bet Mojo or somebody has something to do with this." "We've got to save Miss Bellum!" Bubbles says excitedly. "Yes, that first." Blossom commands. "But how?" "Cut off the head like in the movies!" Buttercup says like it should be obvious. "Split up, find something fast." Blossom says, and they all streak off. Moments later they each return, Blossom with a large sharp knife, Buttercup with a hacksaw, and Bubbles with a butter knife. They work to cut off the serpent's head, but have no luck.
They all are worried about Miss Bellum who stopped moving moments earlier, when abruptly Bubbles snapped her fingers, "I've got it!" She flies to the bookshelf and after a brief search returns with a book. She flips through the pages, then shows what she's found to the snake, which promptly releases Miss Bellum and flies out the window. "How did you do that?" asks Blossom and Buttercup together. "You've just got to understand animals." Bubbles says smugly as she shows them the picture in the book. "Everyone knows that snakes are afraid of mongooses. Buttercup and Blossom look at each other, "Not big snakes!" says Blossom. "It worked." Bubbles said even more smugly. Buttercup snarled, "Yeah it worked, but we can't give everyone in Townsville a picture of a mongoose to wear around there necks like in some sort of vampire movie. We still have to figure out how to kick their butts." Miss Bellum sits up gasping, "Girls, snakes are cold blooded, how about using cold against them." "Let's try that." says Blossom, and the 3 fly out the window.
They first find a snake that's in the middle of squeezing a woman to death at a bus stop. Blossom tries her ice breath on it, and freezes the serpent into a solid block of ice, along with the woman. "Ooops, let's try something a little different." Blossom says. "Get ice, lots of ice." The 3 of them leave the area, and return carrying an ice cream truck, which they bring around town, throwing cold ice cream onto serpents on the ground, and Blossom using her ice breath on flying serpents. After dropping ice and ice cream on one snake and pulling the victim with chattering teeth from it's coils, Blossom looks at her sisters, "This isn't fast enough, we're running out of cold to use, and when the snakes warm up again in the hot sun they start all over. "We've got to find more ice and go faster!" states Buttercup. Bubbles licks an ice cream cone, "Bubbles!!" scream her sisters. Bubbles sighs, "I'm sorry, it was my favorite flavor."
Buttercup points, "Hey, there's Lamia Love, she's walking on the street in her jungle outfit, and she's surrounded by snakes!" "She was probably on her way to a rehearsal or something. Bubbles go left, Buttercup go right, I'll go right down the middle. First one to reach her lift her out of there and take her to safety!" "Wherever that is today." Buttercup says in an exasperated tone. They begin their run, Blossom and Buttercup having to twist and turn through the jumping, flying, and writhing snakes, making little headway. Bubbles decides to land, and begins talking to a python, "Hello there, I just want to get through to help someone." The python nods, and she continues, "Will you and your friends let me through please?" The python hesitates, then nods it's agreement. Bubbles smiles, "Great, then when I'm done you and your friends can all follow me to the zoo, okay?!" The serpent nods in agreement again, and Bubbles takes off to fly past. The python grabs her leg in mid flight, quickly pulling her to the ground and throwing a couple of coils around her.
Bubbles squeals in surprise, then calls for help as she realizes she can't escape the super-powerful coils of the python. "Hold on Bubbles!" calls Buttercup. The python has no trouble holding the small form of Bubbles, quickly constricting her in it's coils, and by the time Buttercup arrives Bubbles can barely breathe at all. Buttercup remembers the strength of the one that held Miss Bellum, and fears she won't be able to save her sister. She curses herself because none of them had brought the picture of the mongoose, having left it with the Mayor and Miss Bellum for their protection. This python was only half the size, and with that hope Buttercup grabbed the python at one end, and used all her super strength to try and pull it off. Buttercup encouraged Bubbles to help with her hands which were both free, but Bubbles was so weak from lack of breath that it didn't help much. Buttercup tried even harder as slowly the snake began to unwind, sweat poured off her forehead and into her large eyes. A large boa constrictor hit Buttercup from behind, sending her flying into a brick wall, where immediately she was wrapped in it's muscular coils. The python which held Bubbles simultaneously renewed it's grip on her, and it resumed constricting her while the crushing of Buttercup by the boa began.
While avoiding the snakes all about her as she flew in zig zags, Blossom caught glimpses of the attack on Bubbles, then the attempted rescue by Buttercup, followed by the 2 serpents slowly squeezing her sisters to death. She felt helpless, and was having a hard enough time avoiding capture herself, she had no chance to intervene, and was barely able to advance towards the woman she was attempting to rescue. Lamia Love just stood there, Blossom thought it was a miracle that she hadn't been grabbed yet. Her eyes caught sight of the 2 constrictors currently in the process of swallowing her sisters, and she felt a rage inside. She had to focus the rage on escape though as suddenly the snakes put even more effort into catching her. She dove under a python, over an anaconda, wound around to tie several snakes in a knot, and continued like this for nearly a minute. Then she collided with Lamia Love, and fell to the ground.
Lamia Love picked up Blossom by one arm, "You should have been sent flying when I collided with you?!" Blossom gasped. Lamia Love smiled, "I took some pretty strong medicine, the same one that all my pets took." "Your pets?" Blossom said in a questioning tone. Lamia Love laughed, "Yes, all these little snakes of mine that you have been trying to stop. Now that they've done away with your sisters, it's time to deal with you, then that blasted Professor Nutonium. After all that is done, I will rule Townsville." She paused, "Actually, I'll probably let Mojo handle Townsville, but my pets will drop in occasionally for dinner, and guess what town's citizens get to be dinner.
With that Lamia Love transforms, and her serpent tail reaches up to ensnare the dangling Blossom. "I will crussssssh you mysssssself, how doessssss it feel knowing that Townssssssville will be at my mercy from now on?" Blossom wanted to make a reply, but couldn't as Lamia Love's coil of rippling snake tail was making breathing very difficult. Blossom gasped and saw a huge anaconda approaching, and heard Lamia Love saying something to it, but she couldn't make out the words. Blossom's eyes shut as she suddenly went limp, and after a moment Lamia Love gave a command to the anaconda. The serpent turned it's head upwards, opened it's jaws wide, and Lamia Love tossed Blossom into it's maw. Within moments the small form of Blossom was swallowed, the anaconda barely needing to stretch it's jaws to do so.
Lamia Love threw her head back and laughed, "I've won, the firsssssst part of my plan issssss done, now on to finissssssh Nutonium and have my revenge. Firsssssst though my petssssss, go now and feasssssst on the people of Townssssssville!" Most of the serpents left immediately, leaving only the 3 who had just eaten. Blossom's muffled voice called out, "Not so fast!" The outline of Blossom stood inside the huge anaconda, "This is the safest place to be right now, a bit dark though." she said as she began whipping the anaconda around from inside, repeatedly slamming it against the ground and nearby walls. When the anaconda was unconscious, Blossom flew out of the mouth, "Now it's your turn!" With that Blossom proceeded to punch and kick Lamia Love, while avoiding her tail. "I'll get you, and thissssss time I will ssssssqueeze you until I'm ssssssure your dead." Lamia Love hissed. They both flew as they fought, but Blossom flew circles around Lamia Love while hitting her, "Too slow, but time to put you on ice." With that Blossom uses her ice breath, and Lamia Love finds herself crashing to the ground in a solid block of ice from the neck down to the tip of her tail.
Lamia Love struggles to break free of the ice, "I'm sssssstuck, my sssssstrength issssss failing." "Your half cold blooded now, half reptile and half human, and cold blooded reptiles like snakes don't like it when temperatures get cold. Now you wait here a minute." Blossom floats over to the 2 resting serpents, and grabbing the first by it's tail she begins whipping it against the walls and ground, being as careful as she can not to let the bulge inside it hit anything. Once the serpent is unconscious, she hangs it upside down over a clothesline strung high between 2 buildings, and pushes and kneads the lump, until Buttercup falls unconscious to the ground. She repeats the procedure with the other snake, and shortly Bubbles is lying on the ground also. During this time Lamia Love tries to resume her human shape so as to regain her strength and break out of the ice, but she's too weak for even that.
Lamia Love grunts as she tries to escape the ice, "You died, I know you died in my coilssssss, how did you esssssscape?! Blossom rubbed her sisters, trying to get their bodies going again, "I held my breath and went limp, it's something I learned from a man we rescued a while ago. He was some sort of Yoga Master." Buttercup and Bubbles began waking up, "Where are they?!" were the first words from Buttercup. After Bubbles stopped coughing she looked at herself, "I'm all slimy!" Blossom hugged them, "We all are, but everything's under control, well almost."
Blossom told Lamia Love that it would go easier on her if she recalled her serpents, which she did, and the girls put them all into large canvas sacks and carted them off to the zoo. Finding the flask of chemical K they destroyed it, after learning that it would wear off in less than a day. Then it was a quick dunk in Townsville lake to get the slime off, then drop Lamia Love off at Townsville prison, along with Mojo Jojo.
On the flight home Blossom looked at Buttercup, "She's not so tough now is she?!" "No." agreed Buttercup. "And she's not a good guy anymore. "But she's still beautiful." Blossom added. Bubbles looked at her sisters, "Well I learned something important today!" "What's that?" her sisters ask. Bubbles looks ahead, "Snakes are only slimy on the inside!"
And once again the day is saved, thanks to The Power Puff Girls, and a book with a picture of a mongoose.
