Session Eight

The Pack meets with the Talons again, the Talons say "There is no shard in our Caern, go away."  The Pack says "Please let us look, we won't hurt anything, you can watch us."  The stand off is broken by an alarm:  Fomori are attempting to burn down the forest!  Most of the Pack rushes off to help repulse the threat, while Manny sneaks into the Caern center to see what the Talons are hiding.  They're hiding, it turns out, a sleeping Gurahl.  Manny sneaks out of the Caern and rejoins his Pack.  "Sorry, I got lost."
The Pack decides that the Bear must have the shard, but it was magically asleep.  The only person they can think of who might be able to wake him is the Gurahl from the zoo.  So, it's off to Traverse City to talk the polar bear into waking up her Tribemate.
Once again the pack breaks into the zoo, and the Gurahl taunts them some more, but reluctantly agrees to come along when she realizes that the Pack follows Hyperion (accepted everywhere, just like the best creduit cards).  However, to go into the Umbra, she must assume Crinos form.  When she does, Kyla frenzies.
The Pack dog-piles (no pun intended) on Kyla and keeps her from hurting the Bear.  We later find out that Janna Full of Rage (the ancestor Kyla summoned in session 2) fought the Gurahl in the War of Rage and still bears a grudge (no pun intended again).
This settled, the Pack returns to the Talons Caern with Gurahl.  The other Gurahl awakens and the Caern which was previously closed, opens.  The Talons give the Pack the Shard and the warning not to tell anyone of the Gurahl here.

Session Nine

The Questing Stone takes our heroes to New York where they meet a Sept of the Get of Fenris (Warders of the Earth). Amazingly, the body count is held to zero, but the Pack is charged to recover the head of a T-Rex if they wanna get what the Get got.
Walks says she knows where a dinosaur head is (Pangaea), but isn't sure how to retrieve it from the current owner (the dinosaur).  Kyla asks  Madonna for help in hunting a dinosaur, but Madonna isn't nearly that stupid.  Madonna does, however, pull some strings to get a powerful fetish spear for Kyla.
Thus armed with a damage potential that calls for more dice than Joey owns, the Pack tracks, hunts and kills a T-Rex.  The Pack returns to the Get with the head of the dinosaur for the Shard and some boss bomber jackets made of dino hide.  At the end of this, Kyla earns the name "Dragonslayer" from an elder of the Get's Sept.
Somewhere in here, Manny gets the urge for some larceny.  He and the rest of the pack follow a teenage girl home because they sense some Wyrm taint on her.  They discover some tainted makeup in her room which Manny steals along with her Daddy's wallet.

Session Ten

While on guard duty, Jarryd stumbles upon a young lady in distress.  She's upset and keeps claiming that she'll "be dead soon, anyway."  She then runs away from Jarryd at about 25mph.  And that's why the Lady is a Vamp! (Apologies to Frank Sinatra)
Jarryd takes the vampire, Catherine, to a hotel after catching her a rabbit to "eat" and promises not to turn her in.  He does, however, tell his Pack who then makes him tell Zephyr.
Acting on a tip from Madonna, the Pack goes to Ottawa to find a piece of the mirror.  While snooping around a national park, they snoop their way right into the Legendary Realm.  While there they question an oracle and a hermit about the mirror (whose name Kyla has forgotten again).
Returning to the physical plane, the Pack meet a Qualmi, Elzzup Smokepaw.  The Lynx questions them, riddles them, and makes them tell a story for the shard he holds.  Kyla's story about how they killed a T-Rex seems to bore the cat.  He tells a story in the style of the Bastet and waits for the Pack to answer in kind.  Manny does answer with a story about the girl with the Wyrm make-up and Elzzup hands over
the shard.

Session Eleven

The Pack goes to sleep at dawn and wakes up at dawn, in Russia.  Russia?  Well, Russia in the Legendary Realm, anyway.  They are welcomed to the court of Czar Nicholai and are instantly embroiled in Silver Fang-Shadow Lord politics.
The Czar knows diddly about the Lens of Future Sight, but puts on a good show.  Various oracles and clues tell them that they are looking for the "King of Northern Ice."  Czar Nicholai, right?  Maybe not.
But before we can find out, there is a call to arms as two Legendary Heroes of the Silver Fangs marshall an effort to go kill a Zmei, a rampaging, dragon-like Wyrm thingy that has been laying waste to Caerns all across Russia.  The Pack are among the dozen or so survivors out of the 40-odd Garou who battled the beast.  However, the Heroes aren't.
After beating the Zmei, the Pack decides that this politicking is for the birds and the Czar can't help them.  The trek out over the tundra and find the REAL King of Northern Ice, a Sidhe of the Seelie variety who trades a piece of the mirror for the Pack's silence.  (Where have I heard that before?)  Anyway, as the Pack leaves the Cave of Ice, the also leave the Legendary  Realm. But, for how long?

Session Twelve

Jarryd gets visited by Trask (or maybe it was Rends Stone, Trask's goon) who gives him a note found in the bawn.  The note says: "J- I found something strange. -C"
The Pack is introduced to Catherine, the vampire (from session ten).  Catherine tells the pack about some strange beasties that she encountered while "hunting."  Realizing that these beasties are Fomori, the Pack goes bug hunting and, with the help of Catherine, kill a hive of Fomori and saves a woman who was about to become Fomor food.
Somewhere along here, Manny's plot to discredit Trask begins.  He's leaving notes for Trask to "discover."  So far, Trask has been taking the bait.

Session Thirteen

Madonna asks the Pack for a favor.  "Can you go down to Tampa and pick up a crystal that the Glass Walkers have for me?"  The pack visits a Silver Fang caern on the way.  While there, they receive a prophesy.  "Your quest lies with the King of the Sun."  The local Silver Fang king, right?  Maybe not.
In Tampa, the pack discovers a house that is the Umbral equivalent of Fort Knox.  Naturally, there's a shard inside.  They later discover the bungalow belongs to a Khan.  They discover this while saving said Khan from Technocracy mages.  The Khan gives them permission to look for the shard while he gets out of Dodge.  He also asks them to release one of his spirit servants, Haji, who claimed to be a servant of Hyperion.
The Pack complies, finds the shard, and hangs out in Madonna's time-share, then goes home.  Nobody got a tan.

Session Fourteen

The Pack returns to the Sept around Moot time. Trask, smelling blood launches himself into another attack on the Pack's reputation.  He lands in a trap set by Manny.  Trask is shamed beyond words and Manny becomes even tougher to live with.
Also at this Moot, the Pack sings, earning Walk's recognition as Rank 3. Kyla challenges for Rank 3 as well, but fails.
