Sept of the Underdog

History of the Sept
    The Sept of the Underdog is located in and beneath the Grand Rapids Children's Museum in downtown Grand Rapids.  As a Caern of Imagination, Garou here tend to get flashes of inspiration both in the area of creative arts and when looking for creative solutions to problems.  The Trash Heap demands that the Sept save EVERTHING ("You never know when that might be useful, sonny") and they help foster imagination in the kids that come through the museum.
    The Children of the Sun first encountered this Sept when Madonna asked the Pack to go and get a pathstone for a brand new caern.  The Children later helped out with a little vampire extermination.  That adventure resulted in the Children of the Sun gaining part of the Lens of Future Sight; a fetish that had been broken in the past and needed to be restored.
    Most interaction with this Gnawer Sept is through the Alpha Ganka Pylon pack.  The Pylons are well known for their Monkeywrenching activities and ability to "gank" anything not nailed down (and pry up anything that is).  Their "clubhouse" is a treasure trove of all things road-construction orange.

    Grampa Joe appears as a street person of an advanced but indeteriminate age. He has claimed to be 48 and 117 in the same hour. He sheparded the Bone Gnawers of Grand Rapids for years before Madonna Backhand found the latent Caern inside the Grand Rapids Children's Museum.
    Joe was installed as Grand Elder and keeps a stern eye on all his charges in Grand Rapids.

    Uncle Gus is a 40-ish Black man who still has an impressive build.   Before the Caern of the Underdog was established, he was able to work in human society in heavy construction.  He now "works" as a security guard for the Grand Rapids Children's Museum and protects the both the physical and spiritual property of the Sept.

    Auntie Irene is a vertible fountain of all sorts of urban legends, city folklore and superstitions. While not a Theurge, she does seem to be favored by Trash Heap. These two characteristics have combined to make her the spiritual leader of the Sept.
