While in the area you will run into frequent goblin, orc, or ogre patrols. Parlaying with them in a sly manner will usually get you off the hook. You may also see a small band of orcs with black hands (Bane’s symbol) on their shields - speaking to them in a sly manner will reveal that they have orders to not kill you until after you find the hidden treasure.
