FAO Schwartz November 28, 1998.
This was a great event! I got to team up with Mike Glover (casters@bellsouth.net) in his SandTrooper outfit, and Marc Collins in his standard 'whites' outfit! We decided to overtake FAO Schwartz, and give them a little bit more business! :) We made quite a scene, and must have posed for a good couple of hundred pictures!
.) Here is our opening/teaser shot of Mike & I posing infront of the main FAO Schwartz entrance! I'm sure the FAO marketing people will appreciate this shot! :)
.) Ahhhh... finally Marc showes up, so being the one in command (Orange Pauldron) I am telling that Trooper in plain clothes to get geared up immediately to help us with the assault on FAO in this pic! :)
.) Great pic of Mike & I hanging out in the shade, where it's a WEEE bit cooler! :)
.) Here we're inside FAO (in the A/C!) where I am being compared to a Kenner SandTrooper still in the box! Not much difference was noted, except that I wasn't as 'buff' as the Kenner figure! :)
.) This is probably one of the COOLEST shots of the 3 of us... Marc is on the left, I'm in the middle, and Mike is on the right. I love the Vader statue in the background! Makes this pic look even better!
.) One of your standard promo shots we were doing outside FAO. Posing with a couple of rebel kids!
.) Now these are the pics I like doing! We managed to capture a rebel, and made him get to his knees! Rebel SCUM! You can see him laughing here right before we took him out of his misery! :)
.) Marc, Mike and I are patrolling the streets, making housecalls on various establishments to make sure they're running under Imperial code!
.) We came across a huge beast native to this world - a Hooters owl holding a Hooters slave girl captive! We were contemplating on how to BLAST IT to rescue the girl! :)
.) After blasting the Hooters owl and saving the Hooters slave girl, we went up into the cantina, and had some refreshments... :)
.) Good shot of myself (on the left) and Mike (on the right) as we're directing traffic out there on the main road! This created quite a ruccus out there as people were driving by with their heads hanging out the windows making pictures. Of course, when they came to a standstill, we did have to ask for the necessary identification papers! :)
.) Ahhh... the end of this day in the life of a SandTrooper is nearing to an end... Here you see Mike and I walking off into the sunset, of course, asking for ID as we go along! :) |
HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PICS!
