Alignments

Nothing is more important then to know who your allies are and who your enemies are. With the exception of spies, who will be listed as mercenaries (but not all mercenaries are spies), the alignment of each character will be listed.

Here is a list of all possible alignments and what you can become if your character decides to change sides.

Loyals

These are people; soldiers, scientists, common folk, etc; who are loyal to the warlord Krula sa Vadi. They are united against the Rebels and carry an almost insane dedication to crush the Rebellion. Loyals NEVER fight amongst themselves. All Loyals are followers of the Way of Absolute Order, without exception. The only problem is that the extreme rigidity of their beliefs has led them to adopt predictable patterns in strategy. Loyals are almost never women as women are considered lesser and confined to the home and hearth. Loyals can become: Rebels, Pirates, Mercenaries or Prisoners.

Rebels

The Rebels are prone to squabble amongst themselves, especially between alien races that normally would despise each other. Often groups of Rebels will break away from the Rebellion and attempt to fight the Loyals on their own. Though fractured and disorganized, all Rebels are fervent about defeating the rule of Krula. Under the leadership of Devi LightHolder, the last Jzenari Amazon, women are allowed much freedom and fight alongside the men. Rebels can become: Prisoners, Pirates or Mercenaries.

Mercenaries

Mercenaries have no loyalties, no ties and usually, no ethics. They go where the money is and who they kill, be it a bloodthirsty criminal or an innocent child, is usually irrelevant. Mercenaries almost always work alone. Mercenaries can become: Loyals, Rebels or Pirates.

Pirates

Pirates travel in packs, forming clans that sometimes fight each other. They are not above shooting someone in the back if the cargo is of interest. Some pirate clans DO adhere to a code of honor but this is rare, as it is a cutthroat line of work. Pirates can become: Loyals, Rebels, Mercenaries or Prisoners.

Prisoners

For a short time, some characters may be captured and become prisoners. They can either escape, change sides, or are executed depending on whom they are captured by.
