In here we talk about what kind of technology is available, cultural notes and other tidbits of information necessary. Consider this the RULES OF THE UNIVERSE.

AI - an artificial intelligence

Androids - Androids are plastic and metal bodies with an AI brain. The technology of transplanting human brains into android bodies has yet to be developed.

Cloning- The process of making copies of a living organism using its DNA.

Cryogenics - Every medical facility on an advanced planet has cryogenics. They are facilities to keep people with fatal diseases or injuries until a cure can be found.

Defensive Grid - Satellites that are armed with lasers and missiles that orbit a planet or planets make up a defensive grid. When an unknown object passes through the sensory net between each satellite, the satellite destroys it.

Guardian - The AI of Aken's computer system.

Genetic Manipulation - The manipulation of genes is completed easily enough when confronted with viruses or hereditary diseases but making a perfect human through gene manipulation has had bad results.

Holograms - auditory and visual illusions produced by a small projector.

Hyperspace - certain ships, particularly battleships and carrier vessels, have hyperspace drives. These use the idea of "folding space" to travel faster from one destination to the next. Ships that are smaller must "hitch" rides on bigger ships or use pre-constructed Gates. These gates are usually Loyal-aligned and can only be used with special codes. Ships that "jump" to any planet with a defense grid are easily detected if they get too close.

Probes/Satellites - Used to scout out areas, as message envoys and as defensive grid markers.

Psi - A person with psi abilities, these include: telepathy, telekinesis and minor clairvoyance.

Shields - None. No "cloaking" either.

Shuttles - Shuttles are required to move from ship to ship or from a large ship to a plant. There are no such things as transporters.

ULTIMA - The flagship of the Loyal army, Krula's personal battle cruiser.

Weapons - There are many weapons, too many to list but there is an adequate defense against every weapon developed so far.

Pleasure Planets - Public harems for Loyals

The Way of Absolute Order - They believe that everyone has his or her place in the universe and must never deter from it or the universe will collapse. Men are considered at the top, women at the bottom.

The Sect of Chaos - They believe that there is no way to prevent the universe from collapsing and in fact, work towards it.

Jzenari Amazons - Also known as just Amazons, they are women who ran away from the oppressive ways of Absolute Order to establish their own society. Before their destruction, they took in many women who were refugees from other planets. In order to protect themselves, the Jzenari learned how to fight, on ground and in space. Their planet was taken by surprise.

Clones - Clones want to be treated like normal humans but either side often ignores that request.
