Missing You
A brush of wind strokes my hair,
And I feel your hand in it place.
I close my eyes, and see your smiling eyes.
In the times of silence I hear your voice.

Wishes and yearnings of your presence emerge.
In the stillness I feel your soft touch,
Carressing, soothing with every inch it reaches.

Conscious of your absence, my heart plumits.
An emptiness encompasses me, and loneliness grips me.
Strangling me in thoughts, in emotions, and in life.

Thoughts of you, away, steal my smile,
And replace it with a frown.
Yet, my mind beseits the present with thoughts of the past.
Bringing the smile back anew,
But also showing how much I miss you.
