Aquamarine Beryl Gem, April 1998; a mixture of color pencil and chalk pastel sketch. In the story of Kaeldra, the beryl stone holds special powers. It unlocks the ability for Kaeldra to morph between her two different lineage forms. This is a picture to symbolize the two different forms unleashed by this stone.
Kaeldra, April 1998; color pencil sketch. This is Kaeldra in elven form, heritage of her father's lineage. It is this character started out as an idea of a story in which elves and dragons are at war, and where a cross breed of the two is dealt with by slaying.

Untitled, January 1999; a chalk pastel drawing. While watching an educational program on TLC of the human muscles, I was struck with inspiration to show the muscles as if two different colored lights were focusing upon the chest muscles.
Dusty Britches Logo, March 10 2000; color pencil draft. This year I was approached to create a street sign for the new town coffee shop, Dusty Britches. After playing with ideas for about a week, the owners finally decided on this version for their logo and to be the design on the sign that hung above the entrance.
Tic Hill, In Evening Light, April 2000; chalk pastel sketch. It was strange angle with the evening light I saw while attending Terry Crenshaw's memorial service at the Nez Perce` Pow-Wow grounds.
