Connor MacLeod

YOB: 1518 A.D.
Weapon: Chinese Style Dragonhead Katana
Status: Dead (Duncan Macleod, 2000)

Born into the clan MacLeod in the Highlands of Scotland in 1518, he was killed in battle in 1536 by The Kurgan and became an Immortal. Not soon after, Connor was banned from his home village by his own people because they thought he had the devil in him. Connor has been an active member of the game, but has disguised his actions well by taking on the names of children who were born out of wedlock and died. With this, Connor's actions have not been well documented. But what is known, is that Connor has been taught by some of the greatest sword masters. Not long after his banishment, Connor and his wife Heather were out in the fields in Scotland. While resting, Connor was encountered by Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez. It was Ramirez who taught him about his Immortality and trained him in swordplay. After his wife Heather died of old age, Connor sought out Ramirez's old mentor, Nakano. He stayed with Nakano in his hideaway and became a better swordsman. Nakano was also a great sorcerer. The only Immortal known to have possesed magical powers naturally. During his training, MacLeod was offered Nakano's head and his power. Even though his trainer freely offered it up, Connor could not kill Nakano. Instead, Kane, a former student of Nakano's took his former mentor's head and took his power. But a cave-in sealed him in, while Connor escaped. Kane escaped 400 years later only to be beheaded by MacLeod. In 1985 in New York, Connor encounters his arch-enemy, The Kurgan. The two face off thinking that it was the time of The Gathering and that they were the last two. Connor comes out the victor and kills The Kurgan. Connor has been spotted in Egypt as well as many other countries. We've only encountered Connor twice lately. In 1992, he fought Slan Quince but was pushed off a bridge and his clansman, Duncan MacLeod beheaded Slan. Soon after nobody has heard from Connor Macleod after the death of his adopted daughter Rachel. Connor resurfaced in 2000 only to sacrifice his own life so Duncan would stand a chance against Jacob Kell.
