He was born around 1005 BC on the shores of the Caspian Sea and raised by brutal peasant farmers. When his father bashed his head in with a rock, the Kurgan became Immortal. He killed his father in revenge and then went off to join a group of bandits that raided caravans. He eventually encountered another Immortal, a Bedouin Arab who taught him about what he was. The Kurgan soon beheaded his mentor and began travelling across Africa, then Europe and Asia, killing both mortals and Immortals in his quest to obtain the Prize. Over the centuries, he has fought with the Mongols and Goths, among others, and has become one of the strongest and most powerful Immortals to ever live. The Kurgan wounded Connor MacLeod in the battle between the Frasiers and the MacLeods in 1536, making MacLeod and Immortal. The Kurgan met his fate in 1985 when Connor MacLeod took his head.
