Currently a shop teacher, Ross has been a school teacher since the revolutionary war. In the 1970's he took in the Immortal boy Kenny as his own son, but when Kenny killed Dallman's mortal wife, Dallman stopped teaching and began to wander in search of Kenny. He finally tracked down Kenny at Duncan MacLeod's dojo in 1994, but MacLeod and Richie Ryan were protecting the boy from harm. After Dallman later explained to MacLeod why he was hunting Kenny, the Immortal boy sneaked up behind him and took his head in an alley.
