Description of Persona: Mara is 15 turns old, about 5'5" with long blond hair and green eyes. She's actually quite beautiful, though she doesn't realize it. Gets very mad if people say things about her. She's not very outgoing, though she's not really shy and she will introduce herself if there's someone she doesn't know. She's a tomboy, pretty much. She's obsessed with runners and dragons, and loves all animals. Her pride and joy is her runner Shooting Star, a tall light dappled gray stallion. She had a pretty serious nature and is a good leader. She tries to give good advice to people if they seem like they need it, especially fellow weyrlings.

Brief History of Persona: She has 6 older half-siblings that she grew up with and considers her real siblings. Her mother is a Master Weaver and her father is a bronzerider named L'daven, who lives at Ridge Crest Weyr. She was born in a northern hold and moved a lot. 2 months after she turned 14, she Impressed green Melody. She lived a pretty average life until she was Searched to stand for a clutch at Ridge Crest Weyr. After that, her life became full of surprises. On m6d2, she impressed blue Caelum. After her best friend Raynar(now R'nar) Impressed and she didn't, Mara decided to become a dragonhealer. Her mother ordered her to return to the hold, but Mara refused. Not long after that, she learned that her mother's husband, a Master Harper, was not really her father. A bronzerider name L'daven was, and she was the result of a mating flight. Mara learned she had a half-sister and three-half brothers, L'daven's children, plus a whole bunch of cousins and aunts and uncles on L'daven's side of the family. Mara turned 15 on m8d4 of the 24th turn. On m8d8 of the 24th turn, a greenrider from Silver Ridge Weyrhold named Reya Searched Mara. Mara moved the the weyrhold the next day, still desperately hoping to Impress. She recently stood at Brith's hatching on m9d29t24 and was thrilled when the little golden weyrling Impressed her, announcing her name was Aureliath.
