Description of Persona: Melaria is 30 Turns old, although she looks more like she's around 20 Turns old. Unlike most of her family, she is tall, about 5'8". She's thin and very beautiful. Her hair is a coppery red and she usually keeps it long, though she occasionally cuts it. Her eyes are dark green. She loves to sing and has a pretty good voice. She will almost always sing, hum, or whistles, no matter what she does. She's always very calm and has a very "in charge" attitude. She loves kids and tries hard to be nice to everyone.

Brief History of Persona: Melaria grew up in a small northern hold. She is the 9th of 11 children. She is the daughter of two master weavers and it was always pretty certain she would either be a dragonrider or a weaver (of her 10 brothers and sisters, 5 are dragonriders and 3 are weavers.) For her tenth birthday, her parents gave her a flit egg and a bronze hatched from it, who Melaria named Beldin. When she was twelve, she was accepted as an apprentice at Weaver Hall. There she met Kelare, a boy who was also an apprentice weaver. At fifteen, she was searched but chose to remain with her craft. On the day of her sixteenth birthday, Kelare, who Melaria had fallen in love with the first time she had met him, asked her to marry him. They were quite young to be married, but Melaria happily agreed and they were married. Melaria was also promoted to Journeywoman shortly after her sixteenth birthday. Then shortly after her seventeenth birthday, her daughter was born, who Melaria and Kelare named Kelaria. For her twentieth birthday, Kelare gave Melaria a flit egg he had found on the beach. From is hatched a little green that Melaria named Polgara. And so their little family lived quite happily for a while. But when Melaria was twenty-two, disaster struck. Kelare, who had been on his way to visit his family, had fallen from his runner and injured his head. He died shortly after the accident and Melaria was left alone to raise their young daughter. After much thought, Melaria made the painful decision to foster Kelaria and concentrate on her craft. So her parents agreed to foster Kelaria. Without any distractions, Melaria's already wonderful weaving improved greatly. She was promoted to Sr.Journeywoman in a short time. Then, not very long after her thirtieth birthday, Melaria was promoted to master and offered a position as the Hallmaster of the Weaver Hall in Lizard Ridge Hold. Melaria eagerly accepted, and taking Kelaria, moved south.
