I run through the darkness
Of my own soul
Pushing the pain aside
Stumbling as I go

Echoes of a memory
Some thing I should know
The darkness tries to smother me
I watch it grow and grow

Screams of agony
Fears I cannot let go
Hands reaching out for me
Burning me as I go

I fall in a pool of blood
I feel so at ease
Sinking to the bottom
Watching it freeze

Trapped beneath the surface
Of my crystallized blood
I accept the darkness
Here I succumb to the flood
