Welcome, dear friends! This is where the warriors training here eat! Since it is between lunch and supper, there isn't anything set out for you to taste. But you can try some prepared foods! There's a variety of drinks, soups, and main courses already made for tonight! Why don't you try some? And if you have a recipe of your own, write it down here! I hope you enjoy yourself!

HOTROOT SOUP

  • 3 pounds watershrimp (shrimp), cooked, shelled, and deveined Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 3 tablespoons bacon fat
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 4 cups sliced okra
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh or canned tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons basil, crumbled
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • Hotroot powder mix (a tiny bit of cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon chili powder and 1/2 teaspoon arrowroot)

    Boil watershrimps. Melt bacon fat in large skillet and brown watershrimps lightly. Remove from pan and set aside. Add onion, okra, hotroot powder mix, and pepper and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for five minutes. Stir in tomatoes, basil, and three cups of boiling water. Mix in watershrimps and about a teaspoon of salt. Cover and simmer 30-40 minutes. Add cooked rice, mix well, and cook 5 more minutes to heat through. WARNING: this otter recipe is very spicy!! Serves 4.


    'UNNYMOLES

  • 3/4 cups of flour
  • 1/4 cup of margarine or butter
  • 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons of cold water(Maybe More)
  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • honey

    mix flour,margarine and powdered sugar until crumbly. Sprinkle in water 1 teaspoon at a time until dough forms. Split into aproxximently 9 lumps. Flatten each piece of dough and spread with honey. Place 1 strawberry and 1 raspberry in middle of each circle. Wrap pastrie around the berries and spread damson juice(or any kind ofjelly) on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. You might want to make more pastry because these 'unnymoles are rather small


    Strawberry Fizz

  • Strawberry juice (available at a lot of fruit markets)
  • Club soda
  • Cream (any kind)
  • Strawberries

    Pour the strawberry juice into a cup, or whatever you will be drinking it out of. Mix in club soda (Not too much). Stir together for about 30 seconds. Add a dash of cream and stir for about a minute. Chop up strawberries into slices, then put them in the drink. Put the whole business in REFRIGERATOR, not freezer, for an hour or so, so it can become cold, just like in the cellars of the good old abbey. Enjoy!


    Deeper 'n Ever Pie

  • 4 large potatoes,peeled,cut in quarters,cooked and mashed
  • 2 small turnips,peeled,cut in chunks,cooked and mashed
  • 2 beets boiled whole in their skins until tender, then cooled, peeled, and sliced thinly.
  • 1 large onion-sliced and sauteed in butter
  • 1 cup (or more) of cheese, grated

    Make a crust for a covered pie. Roll out bottom crust and fit into a 9*9 pie plate. Put half of the cheese over the bottom crust. Mix potatoes and turnips together and add 1 Tablespoon butter and 1/2 cup of milk. Put half of this into the pie crust. Mix all the beets and onions together and put on top of the potato and turnip mixture. Then put rest of potato and turnip mix on and rest of cheese. Put the top crust on with an attractive edging and slits so steam can escape. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes until crust is browned.


    Starbuck Date Scones

  • 1 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Whole-wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup Bran
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter, unsalted; chilled
  • 1 Egg
  • 2/3 cup Buttermilk
  • 2/3 cup Chopped dates

    Combine the all-purpose and whole wheat flours, the bran, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and brown sugar. Cut in the butter. (Or combine in a food processor, just until crumbly.) Add the egg, buttermilk and dates; do not overmix. (If the dough seems too sticky to work with add a couple more tablespoons flour.) Shape the dough into a rectangle about 1 inch thick on a floured surface. Cut into 12 triangles. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet in a preheated 350-degree oven about 25 minutes. Cool on a rack.


    Grumm Zoop

  • 1 Can of Campbells Chicken and Stars
  • 1 Tablespoon of regular Honey
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cinnimon sugar

    Follow directions on can of soup. Make sure if is boiling a lot! Add 3 ice cubes to each side of the pot. It does not matter if they mix. Add ingrediants in order. Simmer for 5 minutes, and you have grumm zoop!!
