The mousemaiden named Meredith enjoyed being out at sea. She was traveling
with her father, Dandin to Mossflower country. Her mother, Mariel was
sipping mint tea on deck. All of a sudden, a stampede of dibbuns came
rushing up from below deck. They were Meredith's brothers and sisters.
After many years living at Southsward, Meredith had been very unhappy and
longed for more seashore. Meredith's hair fluttered in the breeze as she
patted a Dibbun on the head.
The creatures at Redwall Abbey were just preparing for their 'Summer Festival'. Flans, pies, cakes, muffins, and cookies were being baked inside the stuffy kitchens. Abbess Germaine the 2nd poured lemonade into glasses while Brother Rufie lit gay and festive lanterns. "I'd say this will be a bally fun celebration, Wot! Wot!" shouted Gaver the hare over all the commotion. "Quite so, but it won't if you keep eating all the cookies, Dear." laughed Abbess Germaine. Mako, a small mole peered into the great hall. "Oi loive Deeper'n'Ever Poi, Oi doi!" he said, licking his lips. Maris and Samri, two brothers sat on two barrels of cordial. "I do declare, what festivity!" shouted Maris over the hubub. "Quite so, dear brother. We can only hope that Mariel and Dandin will come back soon." Samri said solemnly. "Yes, I do quite miss them." uttered a sad-faced Maris. On the Isle of the Crown, an owl named Archimidis stared into the dim sky. Archimidis would destroy all. Archimidis was evil. All around him lay bones of brave and couragous warriors that had died. Archimidis would take over Southsword, then he would take over Mossflower. Archimidis wanted blood and battle. This is what he liked Best. "John Churchmouse! Stop mussing up Robby's hair!" shouted Mrs.Churchmouse. (John Churchmouse in Rewall is John Churchmouse the 2nd) "It looks better dearest!" shouted John, who thought Robby's hair looked nice. Robby just shrugged. |
