Rick is haunted by dreams of death, destruction, and the Supreme Intelligence. He consults with Captain America but their meeting is interrupted by Warstar of the Imperial Guard. Cap defeats Warstar but an escaping Rick Jones is captured. Roll

The Imperial Guard learn of the existance of a deadly weapon from the mind of Rick Jones. Cap alert the AWC and they rescue Jones from the Imperial Guard who are busy battling a Kree Sentry. They destroy the sentry but the Imperial Guard escapes with the weapon. Roll Call:

Quasar is unable to stop the Imperial Guard from warping away, but he did notice its aftereffect on the Sun. Quasar detects that someone has entered Mar-Vell tomb. Starfox joins Quasar against Atlas and Dr. Minerva, Kree agents sent to recover Mar-Vell nega-bands. However, the Imperial Guard interrupts their encounter and tries to get the nega-bands. In the confusion, Atlas slips away and recovers the bands. Roll

Atlas switches places with Rick Jones when he strikes the nega-bands together. Wonder Man has his hands full with Atlas especially when Atlas continually switched back and forth from Jones to prevent Wonder Man from retaliating. Wonder Man finally defeats Atlas. Cap summons all the Avengers together. Roll

The East coast Avengers rescue the crew of Starcore from a solar flare and run into a hostile Shi'ar fleet. They return to the Avengers' meeting were they are brought up to speed on the situation: an intergallactic war is erupting between the Kree and Shi'ar. Cap splits the Avengers into three groups: one will try to reason with the Kree empire, one will try to reason with the Shi'ar and the third will saty behind as a rear guard to protect the Earth. The Avengers enter Kree space and invade a Kree space station where they are perceived as threats. The Avengers battle the station's defenses while Iron Man takes on Shatterax. The battle goes badly for Iron Man who decides to surrender and forces the Avengers to surrender as well. Roll

The Avengers get a cold reception from the Shi'ar empire and are attacked by Gladiator. Wonder Man does his best against Gladiator but is quickly taken out. Thor takes his turn and proves equal to the task and strands the Gladiator and seal a Shi'ar stargate. Roll

The captured Avengers are taken to the Kree Homeworld, Hala. Sersi's sorcery allows them to escape. They attempt to reach the capital to try and explain the danger of the Stargate to the Earth's sun. They are attacked by Korath the Pursuer and manage to defeat him. Roll

The Imperial Guard attempt a rescue of their teammates and battle through the Avengers. The Imperial Guard manages to trick Atlas into escaping with them. They seize the nega-bands from him and return to the Shi'ar empire through the Stargate. Roll

Quasar does his best to recover the nega-bands but he is foiled by the Imperial Guard and forced to retreat with Atlas. He tracks down the nega-bands to a ship yard but he is stopped by Binary and the Imperial Guard. Roll

The Avengers learn that the StarJammers are transporting the Shi'ar nega-bomb to the heart of the Kree empire. Wonder-Man and Vision get abord the bomb and convince the StarJammers that they are carrying a bomb. The Starjammers jettison the bomb stranding Vision and Wonder Man in the Shi'Ar galaxy. Roll

The Avengers continue towards the capital of Hala and are attacked by Starforce. Their battle is interrupted by the Kree Commanders Supreme who are slain before their eyes by Deathbird. The Supreme Intelligence seizes the opportunity and takes command of the empire and demands the head of Lilandra, the monarch of the Shi'ar empire. Roll

Iron Man battles Ronan the Accuser in a desperate attempt to free the Avengers. Goliath tracks down Deathbird and they free the Avengers in time to stop Iron Man from self-desctructing. Against Goliath's wishes, they leave Hala without Captain America. Roll

The Avengers are taken before Lilandra but she refuses to consider their arguments. The Kree Starforce attacks and is met by the Imperial Guard and the Avengers. The Starforce is defeated and Lilandra decides to recall the nega-bomb. Roll

Captain America is brought before the Supreme Intelligence and is battered by his mental assaults. He sees past the Supreme Intelligence's illusions and frustrates the Supreme Intelligence. Roll

Lilandra sentences the Starforce to death. The Avengers battle the Imperial Guard and reveal that Lilandra's minister is actually a skrull. Lilandra releases Ultimus so that he may inform the Kree of the Skrulls involvement. The Skrulls have captured the nega-bomb. Roll

Quasar intercepts the Skrulls and the nega-bands, and he is forced to let them pass for fear that they detonate the bomb in the Earth solar system. The bomb's prescense has caused anti-matter to collect on the sun and with the help of Epoch and Binary, Quasar is able to restore the Sun. Roll

Wonder Man and Vision argue over the benefits of deactivating the nega-bomb. The Skrulls strike but they are overwhelmed by the Avengers. Unfortuantely the nega-bomb goes off ... Roll

The nega-bomb ravages through the Kree Empire killing billions and bring the empire to an end. The Avengers reassemble and travel to Hala to recover Captain America. They learn that the Supreme Intelligence orchestrated this holocaust so that the Kree genetic deadend could be routed, in a few thousand years of course. One group of Avengers (Iron Man, Black Knight, Sersi, Hercules, Vision, Wonder Man and Thor) decide to end the threat of the Supreme Intelligence once and for all, over the resistence of the rest of the team who will play no part in the murder. The group defeats the Supreme Intelligence and destroy it. The Shi'ar claim the Kree Homeworld and set up Deathbird as its new ruler. The Supreme Intelligence seems to have survived the assassination and is prepared to be patient. Roll
