Synopsis:
Quasar, warned by a trouble signal from one of his listening posts, makes an emergency call to the Avengers and summons a roster of inactive Avengers. Quasar discovers that an outpost world of the Rigellian empire has been wiped out and finds a sole survivor, Jack of Hearts, who has been severely beaten. The Avengers meet up with Quasar and they learn that this world and Jack of Hearts were attacked by powerful robots calling themselves Servitors. The Servitors, who serve the Infinites, launch an attack against the hastily assembled team of Avengers.

Synopsis:
The Avengers defend themselves against the onslaught of the Servitors. However, it quickly becomes clear that they're being overwhelmed by the replicating Servitors and are forced to withdraw from the planet. The Servitors continue their merciless attack on the planet and actually cause its destruction. The planet's destruction prompts the arrival of the Servitors' masters the Infinites.

Avengers Infinity # 3: "They Walk Among the Stars!"

Synopsis:
The Avengers watch helplessly as one of the Infinites molds the planet's residue into raw ore. They attempt to gain more information by sending in Captain Marvel, but they lose contact with her and breach the Infinite's armor to rescue her. However, more "Infinites" join their fellow being and the Avengers come to the awful realization that they're simply another form of robotic servants to the Infinites who have prepare the galaxy for their masters.

  • It's nice to see Jack of Hearts back in action and in his old costume.
Avengers Infinity # 4: "The Hand of the Infinites!"

Synopsis:
Realizing that they're way out of their league in dealing with the Infinites, the Avengers call upon Eternity and he isn't happy when he learns that the Infinites are planning to seize the galaxy. Eternity provides an interface to the Infinites and allows the Avengers to convince them that they must cease their actions or wipe out thousands of living worlds. The Infinites, who sought to bring order to the Universe, realize their mistake and make amends.
