Loki commands Odin to enter his Odin sleep, and the monarch of Asgard does so. Thor attacks Loki in frustration. Loki, using the power of the Odin ring, amuses himself with Thor and the Warriors Three. Karnilla and Loki create Durok the Demolisher and dispatch him to Earth. Thor makes his way to Earth to confront Durok. Jay's Notes:

Thor takes on Loki's creature, Durok the Demolisher. Loki boldly announces his plans to marry Sif. Balder and Karnilla attempt to summon the Silver Surfer. Jay's Notes:

Balder convinces the Silver Surfer to help Thor. The Silver Surfer travels to Earth and discovers that Thor has been defeated by Durok. He restores Thor to health. Thor then returns to Asgard and must battle Heimdall to enter the Golden City. There he finds that Sif is preparing to wed Loki. Foolishly, Thor rushed into a confrontation with Loki and is defeated. Thor is left at the mercy of the Storm Giants. Meanwhile, the Silver Surfer engages Durok in a destructive battle. He is forced to exile Durok in the far future on a desolate planet Earth. |

Thor rages alone against Storm Giants and Trolls to make his way to Loki, who has seized the Odin ring bestowing him with the power supreme. The Odin ring has an overwhelming side-effect that undoes Loki and his ploy to marry Sif. |

Odin interrupts the festivities in Asgard to send Thor and the Warriors Three on a quest to the World's End to learn the secrets of the Twilight Well. They battles through various threats as they journey to reach the Twilight Well. Meanwhile, Loki has unleashed Mangog who heads straight for Asgard and Odin. |

Thor and the Warriors Three continue their journey to reach the Twilight Well at the edge of the world and met the seductive Satrina who attempts enslave them. They see past her deceptions and journey on to finally meet Kartag the guardian of the Twilight Well. Meanwhile in Asgard, Odin is forced to engage Mangog. |

Thor and the Warriors Three battle Kartag and Satrina to retrieve water from the Well. Kartag befriends them and joins them as they return to find Asgard destroyed. They engage Mangog and discover that he holds the lifeless body of Odin. |

Thor and the Warriors Three take their turn against Mangog, while Odin gathers his strength. Odin dispels Mangog's energy link which renders him powerless. Mangog delivers a final blow which mortally wounds Odin. Thor vows to keep Odin from Hela's cold embrace. |
|
Both Hela and Pluto lay claim to Odin's soul. Thor decides to join Hela against Pluto. However, Pluto and his hordes overwhelm them. |
