The search for Odin begins. Thor travels to Hel and battles through Hela's hordes only to find that Odin has not entered the realm of the dead. Jay's Notes:

Thor seeks Mimir's advice on Odin whereabouts, and Mimir demands the Ruby Eye of the dragon that guards the mysterious realm below Asgard. Thor encounters Ulik, who is equally keen on seizing the Ruby Eye. Jay's Notes:

Ulik and Thor battle for the Ruby Eye. Thor offers to help Ulik in exchange for the Eye. Together they battle the underworld menace of Trogg and unfortunately the Ruby Eye is destroyed in the battle. Jay's Notes:

Odin reveals to Thor the origin of Don Blake. Odin created Don Blake as a mortal shell for Thor so that he may learn humility. Jay's Notes:

Thor returns to Asgard without the Ruby Eye, but Mimir is impressed with his effort and tells Thor to travel to the Doomsday Star. Thor, Sif, and the Warriors Three leave Asgard in the StarJammer. The ship is damage during a meteor storm and they stop to make repairs and are attacked by the Stone Men. |

The Recorder joins the crew of the StarJammer in time for their encounter with a derelict world ship. Within they discover a population that is threatened by a lurking monster. The monster attacks and takes Sif captive. |

Thor, the Warriors Three, and the worldship people track down Sporr and destroy it only to discover that it was a benevolent entity who would have provided a paradise for the worldship people. Jay's Notes:

The StarJammer is attacked by the Grey Gargoyle and his pirate crew. Thor, Sif, and Warriors Three are captured and put to slave work on the ship. The Recorder helps them escape and starts a slave rebellion. Meanwhile, the Executioner and the Enchantress lay siege to Asgard. |

The Grey Gargoyle surprisingly decides to join Thor and the slaves to rebel against his ship so that he can return to Earth. He flees the violent combat and appears to die in an explosion. The slave ship is overthrown and the slaves try to pick up the pieces of their lives. |
|
Karnilla and Balder defend Asgard against the Enchantress and the Executioner. Thor, Sif, and the Warriors Three continue their quest which leads them to a galactic graveyard. The defeat the graveyard's guardian and make their way closer to the Doomsday Star. |
