Joxer's Friends
Sure they may tweak his nose and pull his ear,
but deep down they really like the guy!
Xena
Xena met Joxer in the episode, "Callisto." Joxer approached Xena wanting to join her army. Xena promptly told him, "Get lost!" From this time on Joxer has met up with Xena quite a few times. He earned her respect in the episode, "Intimate Strangers" when he tried to defend Argo, Xena's horse. Over time Xena has come to think of Joxer as family. When she found him nearly to death in "King Con" she went out to ruin the man who had beaten him. Xena has found herself now relying on Joxer to help her out. In "Sacrifice II" Joxer was sent on a mission to get the hind's blood dager to the Temple of War under Callisto and Ares' noses. A job that he, for once, didn't bumble.
Gabrielle
Gabrielle, or Gabby, as Joxer calls her can usually be found pulling Joxer's nose. Although the bard may be a little cruel to Joxer she has still won his heart. Joxer's love for Gabby was discovered in the episode, "A Comedy of Eros." When Gabrielle was struck by Cupid's arrow by Bliss she fell in love with Joxer. When the time came to take the spell off Cupid could not remove his love. Joxer finally worked up the nerve in "Chakram" to tell her before she "died again." His love was offered with no strings attached and Gabrielle's feelings towards him is still unknown.
Autolycus
Autolcyus may be the King of Theives but Joxer is Master of Mayhem. Autolycus first met Joxer in "The King of Assassins" when he mistook Joxer for his deadly twin brother Jett. Autoclyus met up with Joxer again in "Key to the Kingdom" when he was tricked into stealing a baby by Meg. In "Takes One to Know One" Autolycus and Joxer along with Xena, Gabrielle, Lila, Minya, and Cyrene must figure out who killed a bounty hunter before Discord's deadline. Autolycus might have an ego the size of Mount Olympus but deep down he has a heart of gold.
Meg
Meg, one of the Xena look-a-likes, met Joxer in "Warrior...Princess...Tramp." She thourghly confused the lanky man by posing as Xena and Princess Diana. She also appeared in the episode "Warrior...Priestess...Tramp" where she was disguised as the Hestian Priestess. In "Key to the Kingdom" Meg tricked Joxer and Autolcyus into helping her steal a baby. In this episode she expressed a wish to settle down with the baby and make Joxer the father. Although things didn't work out quite the way she wanted it to she still remains good friends with Joxer.
Jett
Jett, Joxer's twin brother, is a dangerous assassin. He was introduced in "King of the Assassins" as an assassin for hire. Jett was employeed to assassinate Cleopatra by Pontius. With the help of Xena, Autolycus, and Gabrielle, Joxer was able to bring Jett to justice. Jett gained new respect for his brother telling him, "You have a good thing going...don't blow it!" Jett was sent to prison in Maximus, the current residence of Joxer's father.
Lila
Lila is Gabrielle's sister who lives in Potedeia with their parents. Lila met Joxer in "A Family Affair" when Xena and Joxer went to find Gabrielle. In "Takes One to Know One" Joxer says that Lila had sent him a love note doused with lavender. To this Joxer remarked, "Of course I was flattered. Who won't be? Lila's great, but I'm in love with Gabri...gallabonting across the countryside."
Ephiny
Joxer meets up briefly with Ephiny in the episode "The Bitter Suite." Together they try to protect Gabrielle againist a vengeful Xena.
Amarice
Joxer comes upon Amarice in the episode "Fallen Angel" when he is searching for Xena and Gabrielle. They stick together and appear in the episodes "Chakram" and "Animal Attraction." Although they have more of a sparring friendship they still have respect for one another.
Eli
Eli meets Joxer in "Fallen Angel." He is the one that brings Xena and Gabrielle back from the dead. He also appears in "Chakram" were he advises Joxer to speak from the heart to Gabrielle.
