Here we are digging up some of the scripts and parts of stories that have been thrown away, or at least filed away and all but forgotten. These may be used in later scripts, but they're listed here for now to give you a deeper look into the personalities and circumstances surrounding Star Force.
A later storyline will pick this up, I'm just not sure where. But my original intention was for the Xurians and the Vaxxons to be related to each other somehow. They live on neighboring worlds, but I was planning on them having a common ancestor that linked them together somehow, adding another plot twist to the series as a whole.
When I originally wrote my First Contact story, it had Joshua taking the X-84 out for its maiden voyage instead of Josh trying to save the team by proving to the President something good would come out of it.
Really what changed the story was when my bookbag was stolen, and all of my Star Force things along with it. When Star Force was "reborn" for me, I changed the story to include a "rebirth" for Star Force itself.
Originally (and those of you who saw my page in the early stages may remember it) the story said that Josh's parents had died while he was in school. The actual circumstances were to be left until another time, but Josh was an orphan. This was to give him another bond with Dygo, whose parents were slaughtered in the Vaxxon religious riots of the time.
The story was scrapped in favor of leaving his parents out all together. They may crop up again at a later date, but for now we can assume his parents are fine and probably still live in his home town of Titusville, Florida.
An interesting aside about Josh's family ... and I had no idea it would work out this way. Given Josh's birthdate, my fiance'e and I could very well be his parents! (Except for the last name, of course!) If he developed like a normal child and wasn't premature or anything, he would have been conceived on the one year anniversary of our wedding!! (We're getting married July 17, 1999. He would've been conceived around the middle of July, 2000!)
Sorry, Gang. That's all I have for now. But don't fret -- I have more coming soon (as soon as I dig up all of my old notes.) Please be patient.
