Time

There is no direct translation from Vaxxon Time to Earth Time. Fortunately, Vaxxons on Earth use the standard "Western" calendar and the 24-hour clock, only with the numbers translated to their hexadecimal equivalent.

When using the "Terran" calendar, Vaxxons simply use the names of the first twelve Vaxxon months, with the suffix -EDO (roughly translated "Terran") added. For example, "January" is JaSHOOEDO and "February" is JuNOEDO, because JaSHOO is the first Vaxxon month and JuNO is the second.

A Vaxxon year (called chOD) is made up of 16 months. One Vaxxon year is 304 Earth days. A Vaxxon month (called POD) is 16 Vaxxon days, or 19 Earth days. A Vaxxon Day is called bE and is 28 1/2 Earth hours, or 16 Vaxxon hours. A Vaxxon Hour (biNAb) is 16 Vaxxon minutes, or approximately 1.78 Earth hours. One Vaxxon Minute (sASHObiNAb) is approximately 6.68 Earth minutes.

Years are counted from the Vaxxon Revolution, which occured around 30 A.D., Earth calendar.
