This trawler boat captain agrees to take the agents to the site of a vanished Naval destroyer. They find the USS Ardent, but are afflicted by a mysterious quick-aging disease. Trondheim tries to kill the agents in an attempt to save himself, but the ship is flooded and Trondheim drowns.

"Dod Kalm" Disease

When Mulder & Scully board a Naval destroyer in the North Atlantic, they begin to age rapidly. Scully theorizes that if the ship had drifted close to another massive metallic source, such as a meteorite, the resulting electromagnetic energy could excite free radicals, the elements suspected of causing aging. The agents are hospitalized and the aging process is reversed.

Harry Cokely

This serial killer knocked his victims unconscious and carved the word "sister" on their chests. He also murdered the detectives assigned to his case. In his seventies, Cokely dies after his oxygen equipment is sabotaged by his grand-daughter, B.J. Morrow.

Gung Bituen

Episode: Excelsius Dei

Gung, an orderly at a convalescent home for the elderly, grows his own supply of mushrooms in the basement. He gives his patients doses of the mushroom to allow them to communicate with the dead. These ghosts become angry and begin killing residents and visitors alike. Gung is taken into police custody.

Daniel Trepkos

Episode: Firewalker

A scientist working with a research team on Mt. Avalon, Trepkos goes berserk and destroys the field base. He begins to murder his colleagues one by one, in an attempt to keep a deadly volcanic spore from spreading. Mulder allows Trepkos to leave the site as the team's only survivor.
