Well....Here is my saber I'm building....It's about 95% finished, but still needs a little touch up work. This is an attempt at replicating the ICONS version of Darth Vader's ANH saber.....Grade? A good solid "B"....for the d ring and the holes....also the scan is not to good, but that pipe is very excellent chrome....and all of the black parts are resin, including the bulb release...all other screws etc are metal.....the inside is a garden hose disperser! Oh...And the end cap is from a d-cell Mag-Lite flashlite! No lie! The pipe and end cap are the EXACT dimensions of a Heiland Graphlex flash tube (the pipe is sink drain pipe!) I measured this against an actual Heiland flash.....btw...You can order the end caps from Mag Instruments for $6 each! And I think they actually look better than the real thing...they are smooth on the bottom....If ya wanna know more....email me! |
