There are about three released versions of the Ladyhawke movie soundtrack. There is, of course, the tape released at the time of the film's debut. Then there is the Italian bootleg version which sports a black cover with Isabeau's face and the hawk landing on Phillipe's head. Then, there is the newly released CD version, which I bought for my Mom for her birthday in August. This has a picture of Isabeau, against a sunset background, and Navarre's silhoette(sp???) on his horse. It is of this soundtrack version that I have the track listings and my own personal review.
If anyone has an original copy of the tape released back in the 80's, or the Italian bootleg, I would like to make some sort of trade with you to obtain it, so please drop me a line!!

The cover of my mom's CD

The cover of the Italian bootleg

All music composed by Andrew Powell & recorded in London by the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Oh, to reach a significant point, some people don't like the music. My friend Memilee and her family own the movie but think the music is wrong...Personally, I love the music....it's unique and so is the movie, so why shouldn't they fit together? I think that they do!!
I go now...
