The Mountain men and their native american companion are on there way to Santa Fe.
They want to make contacts to start trading and bringing goods from Missouri to New Mexico. Prior to 1821 Americans caught in Spanish Mexico were arrested. After Mexico became independant in 1821 Americans and products produced in the U.S. were welcomed in Mexico.
