The other day I passed a man on the street and accidently bumped into him. I knew it was my fault, for I was being childish and was trying not to step on a crack. Before I could turn to say I was sorry, he said to me, "It's alright... I didn't make you step on one, did I? Don't want to hurt your poor mother, now do we?" I didn't know what to say. He simply smiled, turned and kept on walking. Before I turned to keep going along my way, I noticed him dodging the samed cracks I had already passed. Here I thought that I had been being childish. Now I see that we all need something so small as that to make our day go by that much easier. -And all it took for me to realized this, was bumping into a man who was being "childish" with me. 1
