The Phoenix

Long ago when the earth was young the Sun decided to create a child of its own. So with this decision the Sun created a bird of pure fire. Its grace and Bueaty was equal to none. Once the Sun's child was born it named it's child the Phoneix. Soon all the other creatures became jealous and started to hate the Phoenix. They tortured and punished the Phoenix. So the Phoenix called up to its mother to protect it, and the Sun decided to make it's child immortal. But this only enraged all the other creatures of the world. So the Phoenix decided to fly to a place where it could live in safety for all eternity. For years the Phoenix searched for a place

where it would be safe. Finally after many years of searching it found an island where it could live in peace for the rest of its days and so it did for five hundred years. But after five hundred years the Phoenix had grown old and weak so it called up to it's mother,the Sun, to end its life. Unfortunately the Phoenix had flown to far and the Sun could not hear it's childs plea. So the Phoenix flew for many days to the place where it had been born, and once again the Phoenix cried to other. This time the Sun heard its child's cries and once again took pity upon the phoenix. The Sun told the Phoenix to lay an egg, and so the Phoenix did this. Once its egg was laid the Phoenix burned brighter than it ever had and then turned into ash. The other creatures all saw this and were sadened for the way they had treated the Phoenix. So they gathered the ashes and placed them around its egg. Then with a burst of light the egg hatched and the Phoenix was reborn.Upon seeing the kindness of the other creatures the Phoenix decided it would become thier protector. So now every five hundred years the Phoenix is reborn to protect the world it loves so much. No one knows what form the Phoenix has taken in this life but look around perhaps it is a friend or a loved one, or perhaps just perhaps it is...
