Sleepless

I liked the plot idea of “Sleepless”. Can you imagine never sleeping? I certainly can’t. How cruel of the government to do that to our soldiers. And I loved the idea that our demons are resolved in our sleep. That really got me to thinking, because it does make sense. I know I often have awful nightmares. I can’t imagine what it would be like to deal with those nightmares in my waking hours.

I also like Krychek. Many people from my mailing lists and such, have convinced me that he is HOT!! However, in “Sleepless” his role is cut and dry. We don’t trust him, and we shouldn’t trust him. It is only later, (in Requium) that his true nature is questioned.

Oh, but I miss Scully. As a whole, I really don’t like early season two eps for this reason. It just doesn’t feel right. But doesn’t she just look beautiful when we do see her? She has that pregnant glow.

It was really creepy to me how Cole could alter what people saw, and basically kill them, like he did. What power. I was especially freaked out during the scene with the surgeon, and Cole is muttering his prayers. I shudder at the thought.

The ending seemed too obvious to me. Of course they all were going to die and be put out of their misery. That’s all fine and good, but I would have liked to see something more original.

So, all in all, it was an okay episode, but I MISS MY SCULLY!!!!!
