Waters of Tharsis

The large lake just outside the DarWater Tower. It's crystal clear waters are always inviting.

Deep under the lake and through a small abyss at the bottom lay an ancient city that was burried under the water by some massave force centuries ago. The structures of the city remain in remarkably good condition and there is evidence of a large battle. There are still bodies strewn about the streets and buildings, untouched by time. Most of the bodies are of the city dwellers, and there are some of soldiers in black uniforms bearing the Zan`kree family crest.

Hundreds of thousands of years ago, before the Tower itself was constructed, the island was a beutiful and fertile land with a rich culture and a large city. Agronus saw this island as the perfect place for his new fortress and resolved to eliminate the current inhabitants. The fleet surrounded the island and the soldiers attacked, killing many people, but this was too slow for Agronus. He gathered together six men and women who bore the same powers he did and together they forced the island in upon itself. From the safety of the fleet, his army watched as Agronus destroyed everything for a new island. He sunk the city and closed it off from the world forever with a barrier of land over it.

After this, he began building his new fortress, and in time new life began on the island with the formation of the Forest of Raziel. Once finished, he constructed a portal arch which lead into the fortress. This arch, made out of stone, was carved by the few survivours of the island massachre, with a warning to all who come to the island.
