Summary
The premise of this game is similar to the popular "Dogz" and "Catz" PC games, but in this case, with horses. Players choose horses which they may care for, train, exercise, and even compete upon. A maximum of six players can take part, and there is a choice of whether they wish to have a go at showjumping, cross-country, dressage, or all three, in a three-day-event. When one standard of riding has been passed, players can progress to the next levels, where competition will be tougher.
Review
This is a excellent game for horsey and non-horsey people, as sucess relies on skill as well as horse knowledge. The graphics are detailed and fairly realistic, and each horse is different, both in colour and personality. In order to show some of the skill needed to compete in the riding disciplines, each player in responsible for telling the horse exactly when to jump, change pace, and keep on course, all by using the space bar and arrows on the keyboard. In conclusion, this is an extremely addictive game, and its difficulty will give players a hint at how hard it is to care for a horse.
