Logline:
Rembrandt and Maggie discover an evil genius has conspired to save himself
by involving the Sliders in a selfish, deadly scheme.
Synopsis:
Escaping a hail of bullets, Rembrandt, Maggie, Colin and Quinn enter the
vortex to slide. As Rembrandt and Maggie look behind them in the
tunnel, they witness a large ball of light strike near Quinn and Colin.
Rembrandt and Maggie exit from the vortex but Colin and Quinn are nowhere
to be found. Instead, a young man appears, also just having exited
the vortex. Rembrandt and Maggie demand to know how he got there and what
he has done with their friends. He has no answers and is genuinely
confused as they are. The three decide to go to town to find out
what kind of Earth they are on and if the Mallory brothers are awaiting
them there. More questions arise when they find the whole town panicking
about the doomsday weather
conditions.
Rembrandt and Maggie discover that Dr. Geiger, his assistant Dr. Davis
and the young man are responsible for the vortex mystery. As they
try to locate their missing team members, Rembrandt and Maggie make some
surprising new friends and earn an enemy who will stop at nothing to gain
his freedom.

NOTES:"We had this idea
of a physicist trying for world domination on a quantum particle level,"
Dial offers. "But he's 'unstuck'. Basically he's been fiddling around with
some quantum forcefield that has kind of unglued him from dimensions -
he can' t stick in one dimension. He manages to put together a forcefield
that contains him, but what he's trying to do is create a universe that
he can live in." Dr Geiger believes he has found a way to escape his prison
within the vortex - by melding himself with an unwitting Slider. First
he must test the process, and chooses a lab rat from a parallel dimension...
Quinn's own double, Mallory. The results of this experiment are devastating:
Colin is seemingly vapourized, and Quinn becomes the 'melded' version of
two people. This information is from the Bill
Dial Starburst interview.

decide to take advantage of their peaceful surroundings by relaxing for
awhile. Diana, however, grows impatient, anxious to figure out how to restablize
Mallory, bring Quinn back and help the others find their way home to their
own worlds. The quiet is suddenly interrupted by the appearance of Diana's
double, a distressed version of herself. Diana perceives that he alternate
has made all the wrong choices. Deeply affected by the encounter, she realizes
that she is no longer in a lab playing with theories, but instead, experiencing
real life in alternate worlds. Meanwhile, a painful struggle takes place
within Mallory as violent flashbacks from Quinn's life begin to torture
his body. Diana enrolls in the college to gain access to their physics
lab to restablize Mallory. But she accidentally brings back Dr. Geiger
from his disembodied state. Although he agrees to help, he betrays her
trust by providing equations that will enable him to re-materialize. It
sends quantum ripples through the universe that endanger the lives of that
world. Mallory's unstable condition worsens. With only minutes before the
next slide, Diana unsuccessfully tries to reset the dimensions back to
normal. As the Sliders make the jump to the next world, Diana is plagued
with the the knowledge that she has forever, if not for the better, changed
the course of many lives.

generations how to eventually defeat the Volsangs. Diana suggests they
transfer the data from the fragile silicate disks to a more durable quartz
crystal. Her offer to help is accepted by Keeper Abraham, but suddenly
the compound is under attack by the Volsangs. Bombshells begin to explode

and shouting "Kill the Believers!" Mallory becomes paralyzed from a laser
beam hit after he jumps into the sliding vortex. Landing on the other side,
they locate Krislov, a doctor in this world, who tells them the paralysis
is beyond his help but suggests that the Believers may have a cure. Living
in a commune, the Believers share a heightened level of consciousness that
derives from swallowing a glittering liquid. The substance not only heals,
but individuality is lost by joining their souls together. Desperate to
walk again, Mallory ignores Krislov's warnings and accepts the blessing.
Frightened by his new alliance, the Sliders force Mallory to join them
on the next slide. They land in a more peaceful village, one which has
been spared from war. Mallory is still under the Believer's influence and
begins offering the blessing to many villagers, becoming their leader.
The Sliders again seek the help of Krislov, who in this world is an innkeeper

Man's light that when beamed on a Believer, returns the person back to
normal. The Sliders are able to save Mallory in time for the next slide.

Rekert (General), Rob La Belle (Mr. XYBO), Stever O'Connor (Leader), Carl
Gabriel Yorke (Technician)
Logline: Maggie is mistaken
for her hugely successful but MIA astronaut double and is hunted by those
who want to keep her dead.

never go home again? Maggie is surprised when the Sliders end up in her

a decorated astronaut who traveled to Mars. There is a museum, a restaurant

Once word leaks out, Maggie becomes the center of a tug of war between
the representatives of evil. Her double had been presumed dead from the
mission to Mars, but a conspiracy theory states that the whole mission
was faked on a Hollywood soundstage. Even Maggie's father refuses to believe
that Maggie is really Maggie. When she meets The Leader, she fears for
her life whenthe alien/human hybrid threatens to kill her permanently this
time. The Sliders must leave before Maggie's hometown permanently lays
her to rest.
NOTES: "We did a show this
year in which Maggie' s character confronts her father. Chris Black wrote
it. In our mythology, Maggie's father was a Marine general who probably
pushed her into the military. He was very distant, very cold, and this
has been a problem that Maggie has been trying to work out. "She lands
on a world and her alternate father is there, who had a daughter called
Maggie that he lost. The thing that Chris did, which was really nice, was
that this father is able to resolve problems he had with his daughter with
Maggie, who is not his daughter, and Maggie is able to resolve problems
she had with her father with this guy. It was a very nice piece of tightrope
writing - a very moving episode." This information is from the Bill
Dial Starburst interview.

Synopsis: The Sliders land
in a peaceful setting by a lake, but soon Rembrandt experiences painful
migraines and hallucinations about their long lost friend Wade. Over a
year has passed since Wade had been sent to a Kromagg breeder camp. Rembrandt

exactly occurred. Suddenly, a vortex curtain appears and the Sliders enter,
believing that Wade is on the other side. They find themselves in the midst
of a Kromagg military complex -- where Rembrandt was imprisoned with Wade.
Her
voice, speaking solely inside his head, beckons him to where she is being
held. Inside a Kromagg lab, hooked up to electrodes and encased in a high
tech sarcophagus is what's left of Wade's body. The Kromaggs surround them
and the leader, Captian Kesh, admits that Wade and other humans have been
transformed into human computers, or cyberaids, able to create wormholes
at will. This new technology will enable the Kromaggs to infiltrate Kromagg
Prime, which has been made impenetrable by the humans. The Sliders manage
to escape from their captors, but not before Rembrandt is wounded. He finally
breaks his silence and reveals the torture he endured and the bitter farewell
to Wade that has troubled him all this time. Rembrandt contacts Wade telepathically

Story by: Chris Black
Directed by: Teynaldo Villalobos
Guest Starring: Jen Jenkins
(Jack Bigelow), Elizabeth Lackey (Gwen), Marco Rodriguez (Escobar)
Logline: The Sliders find
Los Angeles under a desert and Rembrant is worshipped as an ancient diety.
Synopsis: Vortexing onto
a desert, the Sliders come across an archaeological dig populated with
native workers and a university team of archaeologists. The dig's group
leader, Jack Bigelow, a forensic paleontologist, and his associate Gwen,
welcome the Sliders as if they can pitch in. Inside a cave, the site of
the dig, Bigelow assumes that this communal gathering place was probably
a religious shrine. The Sliders are aghast to discover the Bigelow has
unearthed the Chandler Hotel! Diana explains later that the North and South
poles must have reverses places to explain this phenomenon. The Earth they
are familiar with took place 400 years ago, before the Cataclysm. Rembrant
notices that worker named Escobar has been staring at him all day. Other
"artifacts" are continually discovered amoung the ruins. Finally, Bigelow
breaks through a wall into a larger room only to find the Guardian, a human
corpse floating in suspended animation. When the Sliders try to prevent
Bigelow from autopsying the body, he entraps them. They manage to escape,
but are soon surrounded by the native workers who call Rembrandt "The Voice".
The workers are intent on preventing Bigelow from desecrating the chamber
of the Guardian. Rembrandt leads the confrontation.
NOTES:"We just did a show
in which the Chandler Hotel is an archaeological dig. Somehow it's 400
years off from our time, and it's layered over with sediment and our people
get to be part of this dig. When they go and see it's the Chandler, they
find a beer mug that the archaeologist decides is a sacrificial goblet,
then they have a big debate over what a parking meter might have
been: 'It sells time...
but to what end'! It's really our take on how these funny archaeologists
can find one pot and then invent an
entire civilization!" This

toward them! With the water at their heels, they manage to leap aside at
the last possible moment. It's time to slide out, and they arrive in a
deserted town where a mysterious force field is slowly consuming everything
in its path. They are surpised to see Dr. Geiger again, but he doesn't
recognize them. Suddenly, Geiger leaps into the energy barrier. Inside
the Chandler Hotel, Stu, a bellhop, informs the Sliders that one day he
found himself along with other survivors alone in this deserted world.
The Sliders decide to confront that "man upstairs" for an explanation.
They are shocked to find Dr. Geiger again. Apparently the Geiger they initially
met was his alternate. Meanwhile, the unexplained energy barrier is moving
toward the hotel and within a few hours, it will consume everyone. Dr.
Geiger convinces Diana, against her better judgement, to help him split
Quinn from Mallory's body. But Geiger is secretly using the experiment
to help him stabilize his own existence, from his disembodied state, in
this Earth dimension. Meanwhile, Rembrandt and Maggie accidentally come
across tens of disfigured people hiding in the basement and realize Geiger's
true intentions. They rush back to Geiger's suite in time to stop Mallory
from being transformed into Geiger. As the energy barrier enters the hotel,
the refugees panic and charge up the stairs to Geiger's suite. Once more,
