Bracan Transport

Bracan Transport Ship While the Tim'pan are the infantry of the Lylosian Empire, the Bracan are the armor corps. Every year, the Bracan outfit 2 reinforced regiments of armor for the use of the Empire. To transport the armies of the Lylosian Empire, the Bracan developed and produced these dedicated troop transports for the Empire. While the ships do have some defensive weaponry, the majority of the onboard space is used for carrying tanks and troops to the battlefield. Each ship has the capacity to carry either a half regiment of troops or hovertanks. Besides the main forward hatch used to disembark troops and vehicles on the ground, the transports also have an underside drop bay for high altitude or orbital rapid deployments.

WEAPON SYSTEMS
1. Forward Weapon Bays (3):
Mounted in the front of the ship are three heavy laser mounts. While the mounts are fixed forward in the bays, they do have a 45 degree range of motion.
Primary Purpose: Assault
Secondary Purpose: Defense
Mega-Damage: 1D4x100 MD, or 2D4x100 MD simultaneous twin blast
Range: 70 miles
Rate of Fire: 5 times per melee

2. Missile Launchers (4): Located above and below the rear of the wing surfaces, these missile launchers help augment the transport's anti-fighter capabilities.
Primary Purpose: Anti-fighter
Secondary Purpose: Defense
Mega-Damage: 2D6x10 MD: Heavy Plasma Missiles
Blast Radius: 30 feet
Range: 40 miles
Rate of Fire: 4 or 8 missiles per volley, four times per melee
Payload: 50 missiles each, 200 total missiles.

3. Bomb Bays (8): Located forward and behind the drop bay doors, these bays are used to supress enemy fire and to clear a landing spot for the transport, or its drop shuttles. While the bombs are gravity dropped, they can be guided for a mile with every 1000 feet of drop height, up to 10 miles.
Primary Purpose: Anti-Personnel
