Because the Pegasus was badly in need of repair parts, the
Nirac, renamed The Renegade, was rushed through basic repairs. Now
that it is spaceworthy, it can perform short missions. Since the Main Gun was
destroyed, several Zentraedi Battlepods were taken apart and used as secondary
turrets. These "Anti-Mecha" turrets have a short range, but deadly firepower.
The Renegade has also been equipped with a tractor beam.
