Ok here is what happened.

I went to see the haunted Historic Hotel in Attica Indiana with my paranormal group in kankakee. I took a wrong turn on the interstate and drove an hour out of the way but eventually got to kankakee ok where I met up with the other members of the paranormal group. It ended up only Leesa her mother Pam and Cindy and I went. None of the other members were able to make it this time, but we had so much fun we plan on doing it again sometime with more members. We spent the night there. It was really an interesting adventure.

Its a very old hotel built in the 1850's The upstairs and some of the rooms are in disrepair and some of them are fixed up nice. They didnt have enough money to do the whole thing at once it is a big hotel. It was abondoned for about 30years prior to the present owners buying it. That explains the sections of the hotel in disrepair.

The hotel once had a famous resturaunt that was well known for the ribs served there. They once served al capone and even teddy rosevelt. years ago it must have been a pretty swanky place. Its not bad now, except the third floor is closed off and one wing of the second floor where the murder took place. It still has a nice little restarant there. And it also has a ghost. A woman named Vida (mennie) foxworthy worked in the hotel a long time ago. dont remember when but newspaper articles verify this a true story. She was an employee and had something going on with a clock salesman who lived in one of the rooms. Nobody knows for sure but for some reason maybe she decided she didnt want to see him anymore or maybe it was a lovers quarrel or maybe he just snapped. She was married having an affair with him. He borrowed a 12gauge shotgun from his cousin supposedly to hunt rabbits. she visited his room 3 times that day and she seemed to be in good spirits. for some reason nobody even noticed the shots. He killed her in room 21. Then he tried to shoot himself and called for help. Thats when the police came in and discoverd the body and him pretty bad off too. he lived even though he managed to blow a hole in his face. He was tried and convicted for murder. Her ghost is still there. People guest and also employees have reported strange things going on, mostly noises sometimes a touch from an unseen hand. sometimes she calls peoples names.

I had a strange feeling about the place as soon as we started walking up to the place. It was really creepy in the alley beside the hotel. The whole place had a feeling of pressence. When we entered the hotel there was a set of outer and inner doors the inner set of doors were swinging doors and one of them had a habit of opening by iteslf. It really added to the effect, but i beleive that was caused by air pressure from the outer door opening. then we got our key ate dinner and then the owner told us all about her experiences and took us into room 21 in the unre-finished section of the hotel. We heard some scratching noises in one room and kept smelling an odd scent that would go away and then come back. It smelled like fomossa. We also heard scrathing noises in one of the empty rooms. once i heard someone call my name. Only it wasn't anyone in the rooms voice. I knew where everyone was at the time and it wasn't any of them calling me. Nobody else seemed to hear it even though they were close by. The woman showing us the place told me. "Oh, she does that all the time." (refering to the ghost.) I thought i saw a misty white lady go around the corner down the hallway out of the corner of my eye. It was every interesting to say the least. One other strange thing that happened to me while i was there. I was taking a shower in the morning after the investigation. I noticed the water pressure was getting less and less. I thought at first it was just someone else in another room using the water and taking all the water pressure. Well it continued to get less and less until the water was almoast completely off. At this point i check the faucets. and they are pysically turned off. Not just one handle there were two seperate handles for hot and cold and both of them had been turned to the off position. I cant explain that at all. Did I take a shower with a ghost?

The owner's daughter told us to make sure not to do anything to scare the ghost off, because the ghost was a protective spirit. The ghost never seems to do anything to the people who are scared of her and the ghost has never harmed anyone. It did one time run off a shady character who had been hired to do construction work. Another nicer carpenter was staying at the hotel and found an extra heart shaped pillow in the morning. None of the staff had left the pillow there. If you ask the people that work there or the owners they will be glad to verify that wierd stuff goes on there and tell you there stories. Bachelors grove investigations summer 99.

I had a chance to go twice to Bachelors grove cemetary this summer. I did not experience anything out of the ordinary while there, however, both times I managed to capture phenomena either on tape or on camera. I dont have all the pictures on here yet, but I do have a couple of them here. I brought along with me an emf meter, digital thermometers, compass, tape recorder, and 2 35mm cameras. One camera was a fixed focus camera loaded with 400speed color film. The other camera was a Rioch zoom camera with 800 speed color film. I captured the mist with the 400 speed film and the orb with the 800 speed film. There were a few odd things we noticed. On my first trip there there was a rock balanced on top of one of the tombstones. It looked to be the material that could have come from a tombstone. It was about fist sized. On my second trip the stone had been moved from the top of the tombstone to a distance about 20feet away. Another slightly larger irregular stone was on the opposite side of the cemetary. The reason I mention this stone is that under the stone the grass was still green as if it had recently been placed there. There were not any nearby depressions that the stone could have come from. A cross made of sticks was on one grave and on offering of a penny was on top of one tombstone. These things I suppose could have been done by kids, but who knows? The evp file I recorded was on the opposite end of the cemetary from where I was when the strange sounds were recorded. After listening to it a few times I had nightmares. It sounds like a man saying "they are coming to take me away"

Bell Witch Cave Investigation.

The Bell Witch haunting was a very famous haunting which occured in the 1800's. Some say it was all faked, but as far as I know nobody ever explained away all the strange things that happened on the Bell's farm. These occurances were witnessed by hundreds of people who traveled from all around to see the strange happenings and were not disapointed. There were poulterguist type activity in which the ghost interacted directly with the observers. The spirit even talked to the observers and answered questions. The Bell family was harrased mercilessley by the entity. The occurances died down after John Bell died under mysterious circumstances. Some beleive that the ghost killed John Bell with an unknown poison. The Farm house no longer stands, but nearby is a cave which the spirit has appeared on a few occasions. The cave is located in Adams Tennessee.Bell Witch Cave Tours The Bell witch cave is open to the public for tours during the day time, but is closed at night, due to vandals, and also to the fact that the owner is afraid of what might happen to anyone foolish enough to spend the night in the haunted cave. On my trip to the Bell Witch Cave I arived to find myself the only one there requesting a tour at that time of day. The owner personally took me on a tour of the cave alone. We walked a short trail to the cave which is located on a bluff 70 feet above the red river. While walking down the trail we heard a strange noise on the side of the bluff. It was an odd rustling sound like a hard rain, only it was in one location. We both heard the noise. What could possibly be making that noise on the side of a bluff I cannot even guess. The rest of the tour was pretty normal. I went back into the cave looked around saw a few things there that was interesting. There was an indian medicine wheel put there by a psycic to get rid of negative energy. Also there was a indian stone burial box The limestone box came from the top of the bluff above the cave where the indians had a graveyard. There was once the remains of an indian inside but that was reportedly stolen by vandals. I took this dark picture inside the cave. It almoast apears to be a face looking at you. In a graveyard in adams beside an old church i managed to get a picture of two mist on a clear day in the cemetary there.
