Poulterguist activity

Speaking of ghost tours, the poltergeist was at it again last night. I was studying in my room when I heard this really loud creaking noise. I went to see what it was and, of course their was nothing there. It happened again a couple of times and I got p*ssed so I sat in the hallway until it happend again. Here the door to my roomates bedroom was going back and forth, over and over again. I closed to to see what would happen and it started to bang and stuff. After a second it died down and it only moved a couple of times more. Yep. It was prettycreepy.

(STORYNAME) my guardian angel(Story)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The story i'm about to share with you all, happened 23yrs ago in my hometown of Chateauguay (Quebec). around x-mas time of 1974 i was 7-8 years old at the time. Let me start by explaining what happened on that particular year. My family was a happy one, average class, not poor, not rich, but we had all we needed, raise in respect of others & strong bonds between us, until one day my mother got rush to hospital not feeling good. We knew she was a diabetic and had to give herself injections of insuline twice a day, but something else was going wrong, very bad diagnosis, she was kept in hospital for several weeks, our father told us she was going to be just fine!, one morning it happened !!! we got hit with the unbelievable !! she had died in the night, her battle against general cancer was over.. Being to young we were (me & my twin sister)set aside did'nt attend the funeral or service. Grownups would tell us " remember your mother's face when she was healthy and with you" took us a while to deal with her absence, my father started drinking and being very depressed, so did'nt come easy for us.. Until that x-mas eve of the same year !! (my mother died in early march). We all went to bed early, feeling blue c'ause it was our first holiday without her, we wer'nt in the spirit !! as you might say. anyways!!, got to bed, pulled the blankets up to my chin, it was a cold night outside, tried to close my eyes, tossed & turned for what seemed to be an eternaty, then it occured to me !! got that strange feeling of something or someone peeking in my bedroom from the doorway, i slowly turned my head in that direction to see, what i saw at first was a sort of clouded white fog floating 3-4 inches from the ground !!! got really scared at this sight, but get staring, unable to move, my body paralyzed with fear...millions of toughts running trought my brain!!! but in a flash the fog changed shape and was replace with a more human profilethe thing slowly drifted toward my bed, has it came closer i recognized her, my mother !! oh god !! the feeling i had was undiscribable, i bursted in tears all fear had left my body, wanted to ask her so much!!but no words could come out of my mouth. as a respond to my action she leaned on my face and i felt a kinda cold touch on my forehead, closed my eye for a moment, then looked back but she had vanished !!but i felt something from deep inside my soul, a burst of inner peace & joy know i'm all grown up, but still i know she is watching over my shoulder, guiding me trought rought times, since that particular day i became a true believer..woul'dnt you be??

(STORYNAME) Grannies visit

In April 1976 my grandmother at the age of 62 decided to check out of this world, or so we all believe due to her overdosing on heart medication, filling out all her necessary paperwork, and writing a check for her entire balance out to my father and laying it on her nightstand as she went to bed. This is all can guess is what happened. Anyways we lived downstairs from her in the same house that she died. One week to the day that she died, her alarm clock next to her bed went off. We began hearing her walking upstairs just like we always had. My dad couldn't take it anymore and sold the house. We bought my uncles house also in Chicago, obviously my grandmother found us there too even though it took 10 years. Anyways, one night I was woken up to the feeling that I was being pulled off of my bed by 1 leg. As I awoke I was 1/2 off the foot of my bed and there was a air-swirling and fog like sensation around me. Sleepy eyed I looked across the dimmly lit room! and vaguely saw my grandmother's face. Strangly I was not alarmed, I was very very calm. Her image disappeared, I pulled myself back into bed and relaxed back to sleep. This has not happened again since. I did mention this to my mother, she told me not to mention it to my father because he would freak out again. After discussing it with my mother, we determined that this happened to me EXACTLy 10 years after my grandmother died. Strange! I have since moved away into an aparment, maybe she has lost me. What happened that night to me? I always wonder if she was trying to take me with her, pulling me out of my sleep to go along. Why was I so at ease when you would think I'd be started and scared out of my wits? I always wonder about this. I always thought ghosts came back when they thought they're life wasn't finished. But if she did kill herself, then why contact me? I'd welcome seeing her again. I'd like if I had the opportunity to talk to her, to ! contact her. To ask her if she indeed did take her own life and why. We were very close, and I still miss her 22 years later.

>>Hi! Had a scary and funny experience at work last night. I work the midnight shift at work and the building scares the bajesus out of me. I was standing in the breakroom getting a candy bar and heard a knock on the door. So, open the door and no one is there. To enter into our building you have to ring the door bell, come inside another room and key in a code to get in. I asked the other 2 people in the control room if they let someone into that first room. They said no one came in. I told one girl that I heard a knock on the door. She just told me that the place was haunted. Okay, I didn't go in the break room the rest of the night. Then in the morning, I had to go over to our back up site to bring up the game (I work for the IL state lottery). I walk up these stairs and out of the corner of my eye, I see a body under the stairs. But there was a table propped up against the stairs, so I could see much. I could see an arm in a sweater. I'm really freaking out now, especially after the breakroom incident. So, I think that maybe there wasn't really a body. I look down they stairs again, and I couldn't really tell. I have a wild imagination, so I'm imagining the worst. I run up the stairs because I had to have the game up by 6 and I was running short on time. As I'm bringing the game up, one of the lottery people walk by in the same sweater I saw. I guess she was taking a nap under the stairs. Strange! I was really glad I didn't have to see a dead body.
