What is an Aliroo?

To put it shortly, an Aliroo is a winged kangaroo from the planet ¤. Most Aliroos D-hop, or travel through dimensions. 'Roos come in all different colors, and have different abilities.

What is a TDT?

TDT stands for TransDimentional Transporter. Every 'Roo, when they turn 15 (standard), is tested to get a 'licence.' This licence tests them basically like you're tested to get your driver's licence. Once you got da licence, you're issued your own TDT. The TDT is a piece of technology that lets ya "flash," or transport, anywhere you like.

A new addition to the TDT allows it to be compatable with Alirized Natives. The process of Alirization is complicated; but in short terms it gives a person that is not an Aliroo Aliroo powers. TDTs only work with Aliroos, and now, with Alirized Roos. More info:

What is "¤?"

¤ is the name of the Aliroo Homeworld. It's just a basic shortcut, the complete name of their planet is Mrey-Qu'ucu'ce Op Inceyer, which means Land of the Islands and Changing Sky. You can get the ¤ symbol by (on most comps) pressing and holding ALT and keying 15 in the numberpad. Otherwise, other ways people have done it is by calling ¤ "*," "The Homeworld," or "Mrey." Actually, no one's used "Mrey" yet, but it's acceptable ^.^ More info:

What is the Aliroo Alliance?

The Aliroo Alliance is an Alliance put together by Darbo Greensborough to attempt to get a handle on Universal Peace. Species and organizations with dimension-hopping technologies have the opportunity to join the Alliance. However many planets are IN the Alliance, only a scant few send representatives to the Alliance Council, ATM under the 'leadership' of Blu Flyer.

What is "AliRPG?"

"AliRPG" is simply short for the Aliroo Role-Playing-Game. This is the AliRPG site ^.^

Is Blu invincible?

No, of course not. Blu can take an awful lot of damage, though. She ranks near a lycanthrope in the healing rate due to her parantage (meaning yes, Boomer, Joe and Tiel all have the stamina and endurance she does). Lycanthrope healing is like...Alright, "true" story. A lycanthrope gets his throat pulled out. He regenerates. Lycanthropes are basically invincible against anything not silver, including bullets. Blu, on the other hand, is vulnerable to anything. But she recovers, usually, excellently. Off of the top of my head, plausible ways to kill Blu include... 1) chopping off her head (though that might be hard) 2) blasting her with a deadly spell or psychic attack 3) stabbing or shooting her through the heart or other vital organ (well, depends. I'm guessing she might be able to survive a shot from a small gun, but don't try the Magnum, okay? =P) 4) melt her in acid 5) inpregnate her with a xenomorph. And there are other ways.

What's the deal between Blu and Lance?

The way I see it is this: Blu and Lance were involved for a good while following the Lylat conflict. This kinda died out a bit afterwards when Blu became super busy with all this other stuff. They're very good friends NOW, and the casual way Blu treats her very closest friends might give people the idea they're still together. But they just kinda both know it wasn't meant to be, not that way anyways. It could have been (where'd Jacey come from, otherwise? *G*), but asofar as I can see, it's not going to be in this line. Also, I have the hunch that Lance might still be attached to Blu, he might become benignly jealous if she were to become involved with someone else. But who knows ^.~

Can, and will, Blu ever be surprised?

Of course. It's just not easy. Blu is one of those people who is either too tired, too charged on caffeine, or too angry to be surprised. Right now...The only thing I can think that might possibly surprise Blu is if...like, if Vail suddenly threw his arms around her and frenched her or something, LOL. I'm guessing that would surprise her *WEG*

What is "Pure Evil?"

Pure Evil, as defined by me:

Pure Evil: noun;

1. A phrase first said by Dave Foley on News Radio in reaction to a demotion 2. The phrase made irritating by Blu Flyer (see "Aliroo") 3. Meant to be a phrase to disturb seriousness. DO NOT TAKE LITERALLY. Effects are usually successful. For best results, hold flashlight under chin in a dark room and say it like this: "Pure......Eeeeeeevil...." 4. Used to define anything that simply will NOT DIE (see Superman, Pillsbury Doughboy, Bill Gates)

Can you draw my character?

I might be able to, if you mail me a description I'll see what I can do. Just know this: Many times, when I set out to draw something, I royally screw up. Once I have the description logged into my brain, eventually it'll show up on my sketchpad. Like, for instance, Gobrianna. I want to draw Gobrianna, but whenever I purposefully try I mess up. It's a curse!

11. Why are Aliroo's of the same family different colors?

This happens for a few different reasons. The first is if the parents are travellers; the location of where the baby 'roo is born helps determing it's colors. Also, the Cycle of the Day (what color the sky is) also determins a fledge's colors.

12. Can other species get a TDT? If so, how?

Yes, they can =) The first thing they need to do is talk to any head of a Guild, or someone else who has the authority to authorize an Alirization; the process of giving a non-Aliroo Aliroo powers and an ICF. Once the new Aliroo has an ICF, they can aquire a TDT the same way Roos do; by passing a series of tests taken at Aliroo Headquarters.

13. Which dimension is ¤ in?

¤, along with the other planets of System 1, is located in Dimension 1 =)

14. What's a fledgling?

"Fledgling" or "Fledge" is a term used to refer to a baby Aliroo. The term for a fledge is used more often than it's other counterparts; "Buck" or "Sor" for a male; "Doe" or "Tess" for a female =)

15. Where's the Aliroo Headquarters?

AHQ is located on Silverstreak Island, just south-east of the Vosh Plateau.

16. Can I invent my own characters?

Absolutely! It's not a whole lot of fun to only play with other people's chars *G*

17. Can I use other people's characters without asking?

Sure! But before you do, try to make sure you know how their character acts. For example, the character of Cobalt wouldn't likely be going around swearing and shooting people like a psychomaniac, hehe

18. Can I kill other people's characters?

If you do, you MUST have the char's player's permission. Most people don't like their chars to die, and if they do, they usually prefer to kill them themselves. There are exceptions; I sent out a sort of "death warrant" for Strype Quincy; I was sick of his character and wanted to get rid of him somehow. So, I told everyone this, and our friend Grey managed to let him go out with a bang. Er, an explosion of a super-carrier, anyways, hehe...

19. Can I invent whole species and planets and big stuff like that?

Yup! If you do, make sure to send out an informational email about them, commonly called an "Info Post." You may basically do anything you want as long as you're not imposing upon anything that is already "set in stone." If you want any help, or have any questions, ask me or the list! =)

20. What's up with the Aliroo ranking system??

Aliroos use Strike Force Swift Lance (a remote strike force in the Conferacy way off at the edge of nowhere)'s ranking system. Either that or SFSL picked it up from the Aliroos ^.~ Ranks are about like this:

(red slash) Striker
(red slash) Finf
(blue slash) Tweg
(blue slash) Dec
(gray slash) Alt
(gray slash) Aspirant
(white pip) Cent
(silver pip) Mil
(black pip) Caud

'Roos in any part of the Aliroo Defense use the same Rank, and these slashes and pips go on a high black collar that leaves room for the black pendant collar.
