The Kadith

"Can't. Sorry Kiv. Corneria is MY world, it ain't going to some... whatever they are." – Blu Flyer

The Full name: Kadith’Ots’Ventasai (Ka-Deeth Ots Ven-tau-see). This roughly translates in Lapine to "The Chosen. The One. The Future." More often then not, they are simply referred to as the Kadith or "Lapine." In certain quarters of the Empire, the Kadith retain the nickname "Furry."

Technology: Galactic/Organic. The Kadith possess fair powerful technology. During the Cornerian Campaigns, they successfully held off several attacks by the more advanced Aliroo Alliance before being forced to retreat deeper into their own space. As of now, the Kadith currently basic dimensional technology and can hop known space at will. The current Kadith Empire far outstrips both the New Republic and the Old Imperium in terms of sheer technological prowess.

Note: Some forays have been made into the arena of Organic and Space/Time technology. Events posted as warranted.

Lifespan: The Kadith lifespan is broken down in accordance to an individual’s coloring. Those born as Grey’s have roughly half the life expectance of those born in the Red. The breakdown is as such (these ages are approx.):

-Grey- (Most common: Katrees, Ghenna) – 480 standard years

-White- (Less common: Katrees, Ghenna) – 640 standard years

-Black- (A fair minority: Diablo) – 900 years

-Blue- (Rare: Demeter, Ghenna) – 1190 years

-Red- (Extremely rare: Coruscant, Diablo) – 1368 years

This accounts for the fact that despite similar age: Dhakath Khaxki (a Black) was quite youthful in comparison to Master Khachur (a Grey). In order to hold down such unfortunate matters as overpopulation, the Kadith are limited to having two children per litter. At the moment, the Kadith is a population that will continue to decline from the effects of age and war.

Average Height: 5 foot 7 inches (by the galactic standard of measurement). No Kadith has ever exceeded 6 foot two.

Psi Ability: It is not known whether the Kadith possess Psi ability. Some skeptics suggest that Kadith force users are actually powerful psychics. Research on the subject continues to be done.

Physiology: The Kadith are first and foremost hunters. Having always been possessed of fairly poor eyesight, they will rely on their keen sense of smell and sight. As the old saying goes: "They’ll peg what you had for lunch 30 feet away, but they can’t they see the nose they did it with." Most Kadith have a distinct problem with depth perception: Most are too proud to admit it, some high level diplomats (read: Fink Cantor) will wear eyeglasses for important events. All Kadith pilots are given vision enhancement equipment and VR tech to compensate for their eyesight.

The Kadith are skilled at the game of Predator and Prey, they can conceal themselves in the shadows and keep extraneous movement to a nil for hours at a time. A common Kadith rite of passage is to equip a youngster with neutralization spear (a spear capable of neutralizing acidic blood) and send him/her to the location of a Xenomorph hive (like Retsai) to kill or be killed. The Sherat has recently banned this rite, but many youngsters still attempt it to prove their adulthood.

Needless to say, if a Kadith on the hunt wants you dead then he will probably make you very dead.

The Pirath system and the planets within: The Pirath system once consisted of 11 planets and it’s star Primus, a medium yellow. Unfortunately the star collapsed and expanded into a Red giant, annihilating the first 4 planets and laying waste to several more. Pirath remains a beautiful but unstable system, home to innumerable natural anomalies and barriers.

  1. Diablo – Long ago, Diablo was a lush paradise and home to a quarter billion of the Firekkans. After the collapse of Primus (the Pirath star), Diablo was enveloped in fiery heat and expanded to near twice it’s original size. The planet is now abandoned save for a few choice inhabitants on the one or two inhabitable parts of the planet. Diablo is frequently victim to massive volcanic upheavals and Earthquakes: Analysts predict that the planet has only another century or two to live before it rips itself apart from the inside out.
  2. Retsai – Little is know about Retsai. Not much more then a rather large rock, Retsai is still known to contain a full Xenomorph hive in the caves below it’s surface. It is not known how the Xenomorphs first came to this planet. On occasion, an enterprising young Kadith will make the journey to Retsai and attempt to hunt a Xenomorph, but no on has ever returned alive. More recently the Sherat’Nat has established Station 39 to study the planet from the safety of orbit. The Station is fully quarantined to protect from possible Xenomorph incursions.
  3. Demeter – The ocean world of Pirath, Demeter is the chief source of blue Kadith aside from Katrees (a very few blue Kadith hail from Ghenna). The Kadith inhabiting this planet are known to be of a rather carefree breed, spending much of their time amongst the waters of the Topaz and studying the myriad sea creatures within. Demeter is not counted as a colony world of Katrees as they have long since established ties with the Human Republic, but peaceful trade relations between the Empire and Demeter exist under the Market truce.
  4. Firekka – Former home to the Firekkan bird people, this planet was the center of a great Empire until the system wide devastation caused by the collapse of the Pirath star. Once revered as an archaeological treasure planet by the Kadith; Firekka was violated by the forces of Dhakath Khaxki and raped for the riches contained within. Firekka is now a dead world, it’s ruined cities plundered and the surface abandoned.
  5. Maelstrom – A violent storm has raged on the surface of Maelstrom for over a 1000 years, continually wreaking havoc upon it’s already tortured surface and flooding any semblance of civilization. The Maelstrom is said to have been precipitated by a Kadith of the Dark guild during the Kadith – Republic war as an act of vengeance to Republican forces that occupied the surface. All semblance of civilization within has long since annihilated by the torrential downpours. Several Kadith meteorological experts traveled to Maelstrom in an effort to ascertain the source of the continued storm. Initial reports indicate that the planet now experiences a vastly accelerated water cycle: The scientists have witnessed entire Oceans being evaporated in minutes, only to be dropped upon the planet below. More information as events warrants.

-Ares belt – A relatively young body, Ares Belt as it is known is believed to not be a natural piece, but rather the shattered remains of a planet believed to orbit Primus almost 1100 years ago. Imperial Intelligence and Survey is placing much of the blame on the neighboring Kadith, as there are still residual traces from an energy blast of immense power (possibly a planet killer, the Kadith were known to have possessed them). The Asteroid Belt is littered with debris, ranging from the Battle of the Belt a thousand years ago to the more recent Imperial Offensive.

  6. Ghenna – One of the two ice planets within the Pirath planets; Ghenna is identified as a prime colony of the Kadith Empire. However, Ghenna is best known for it’s role in the first Kadith revolution. First colonized during the Kadith run into space, Ghenna subsequently served as a strategic outpost for several military outposts. The planet is regarded as the second line of defense in any offensive against Katrees. During the first Kadith revolution, Dhakath Khaxki and his followers established a base upon Ghenna and used it to launch attacks upon the Katrees proper. Since then, Ghenna remains the headquarters of the Dark Guild and a dangerous planet to visit or live.
  7. Katrees – "Gai’Katrees is the gift of the Force. Should our people’s ever defile it, should we ever stray from the path of knowledge and the Force.. She will be taken from us as a mother revokes a child’s plaything." - Keershang

The Homeworld of the Kadith, Katrees was long ago a gas giant before condensing into the ice planet it is today. Its beauty from orbit typically dazzles visitors: Katrees is a near perfectly formed blue/white planet with the familiar lights and outlines of a city planet. Every Kadith feels a special attachment to Mesava Gai’Katrees (Loved Mother Katrees), even those born on colony worlds are compelled to visit the homeworld to pay their respects. On the surface, many of the cities are carved directly out the crystalline ice and inlaid with the appropriate brick, mortar and glass. The Khaxki palace located in Tuczanor is known as a triumph of modern engineering, inset with the most modern of security systems and housing the top diplomats of the Empire. Tuczanor itself lies within the Vedatso Mountain range, not from the coast of the permanently frozen Opal (an ocean that dominates much of the planet). Katrees is also known for the immense debris field in orbit, as well as it’s two moons Jhret and Keershang respectively.

Katrees is still known as the seat of the Kadith Empire, and has changed several times. The most recent battle fought in orbit the ice planet was the Battle of Katrees, a multi-species conflict that inflicted horrific casualties on all parties. More historic battles include the Battle of the Constellations (the final battle of the Republic war) and the Battle of the Belt (fought in the nearby Ares belt). To this day, Katrees remains the Commercial, Economic and governmental seat of power in Dimension 12.

Appended: One Kadith Revolution is equal to approximately 9.4 standard years on the Galactic scale.

Other well known systems associated with the Kadith:

The Lylat System: Founded 1500 years ago by a band of Katrees colonists, Lylat eventually came to be famous as the jewel of the Empire. As time went on, Lylat became increasingly belligerent about their position within the Empire. Matters came to a head when the Sherat’Nat denied the Lylatians special privileges within the Imperial Assembly and the Cornerians took several loyalist prisoners. Troops were called in and the revolt was swiftly quashed, but tensions remained heightened. Not long after, members of the Lylatian Assembly sought the help of the Republic in exchange for exclusive trade privileges. During the ensuing Kadith-Republic War, the Cornerians rendered assistance to the Republic in general and the Corellians in particular. Lylatians starfighter design firms began to work in conjunction with Republic Engineering corps of which the first Arwing was the result.

At the conclusion of the Kadith-Republic war, the Lylatians withdrew from the Republic-Lylat Alliance when the Republic denied them total sovereignty and trade rights (taking the Arwing with them). Incom Corp. later attempted to emulate early Arwing design with their own X-wing and A-wing Starfighters, but were largely unsuccessful. Today, Kadith-Lylat relations remain highly adversarial as the two powers constantly attempt to one up each other on the council floor and elsewhere.

The Emperor’s Hammer: An arm of the old Imperial government established in the Minos Cluster, very near to Katrees and the Pirath System. With force of arms, the Imperials drove the Kadith away from several colonies and set up their own cities as the Kadith sat by powerlessly. Resentment grew as the Empire expanded further into Kadith space, but due to the politicking by Grand Admiral Ronin and Ensign Fink the hostilities remained in check. A temporary alliance was signed between Khaxki and Ronin during the Cornerian campaigns, but the Hammer took little notice of it after that.

Most recently, the Khaxki Counter Insurgency Front attempted to utterly smash the Emperor’s Hammer military and retake the colonies for bases, but were thwarted by the arrival of Fink and the governmental forces.

Cauve: A source of continuing frustration for the Kadith. The planet was originally a colony within the Empire until a group of then unidentified dissident Aliroo’s landed as well. What followed was a tension of unspeakable volume as both groups vied for control of resources and land. Today, a Kadith fleet remains stationed above Cauve, continually raining havoc and destruction upon the settlement.

The Kadith System of Government:

Note: More recently, a new Emperor came to power in a military coup and the Sherat’Nat was disbanded. The current regent Tovaloran Cantor Jerel has not yet acted to reestablish the body, and many doubt if he ever will

Government: The Kadith Government is generally classified as a Constitutional Monarchy. The structure of Kadith society is almost as old as the race itself. Kadith society is an intricate web of clans, families, circles, cartels, trading organizations, information spheres, financial districts, tribes, domains, and communities. These strict definitions of one’s place in society help weed out undesirables early on – Lending credence to the Kadith boast that they have few prisons. The Government consists of:

The Emperor: There has only been only one Emperor of the Kadith for now (not even during the Empires 10,000 years ago was there an Emperor). This power usually rests with the Jhadur, the head of the Sherat’Nat. The only true power that the Empire has is to be able to call up the Armed Forces of Fleet 1 (of which he commands). The most recent Emperor was Avensai Dytiri of Diablo. Working with several Generals within the Armada, the inept disciple of the Dark Side of the Force successfully deposed the Sherat’Nat and took command of the Kadith Empire. He died soon afterward, purportedly at the paw of Tovaloran Cantor "Fink" Jerel of Coruscant and the Aliroo Alliance.

The Sherat’Nat: The ruling council of the Kadith is the Sherat’Nat (Council of Nine). The Nine consists of a member of the Inner Circle of the Dominant House of each Clan. Each member is seen as an equal, and when one clan has legitimate grievance against another, they are both heard equally. This setup was successful in halting Civil War for over 7800 years. At the head of the Sherat is the Sherat’Jhadur. The position has been filled only twice, first by Keershang 8000 years ago (the position was immediately vacated upon the death of Keershang) and later by Dhakath Khaxki who took the position through force of arms. The Jhadur has more power then even the Emperor and makes all final decisions based on the vote from the Nine.

The Clan Positions: Each House consists of 7 circles. Each clan consists of two houses.

The Inner Circle: The highest circle. Kadith can only be born into this circle. It consists of one royal family (one for each House) who elects representatives to the Sherat’Nat.

The First Circle: This circle consists of religious officials. Jedi’s of both Guilds compose this circle. Occasionally, in a very great while the Inner Circle will allow a member of the First Circle to mate with a daughter to keep the royal blood fresh.

The Second Circle: This consists of apprentices aspiring to higher levels of the Force and the First Circle. In order to reach circle, they have to pass the three tests, and spend five years living in seclusion. Eventually, they are accepted into the First Circle as a brother.

The Third Circle: This is highest circle in which a commoner can aspire too.

The Fourth Circle: Starfighter Pilots in each House is honored with a position in the Fourth Circle. Skilled pilots are prized commodity amongst clans, and more often than not individual clans will hold friendly competitions to show off their latest accomplishments. Skilled pilots often advance into the Third Circle.

The Fifth Circle – The Skilled Worker Class. Consists of shipbuilders, scientists and technicians.

The Sixth Circle – The Worker Class.

The Seventh Circle – The Military (grunts)

The Lost – Thieves, prostitutes and outcasts – including the unstable, those addicted to drugs and simply the unlucky.

The caste system is most evident in the layout of Kadith cities. One city is actually a collection of cities composed of the various classes. The main city is the province of the upper classes, (from the third to Inner Circle) while adjoining cities are set aside for the Fifth and Sixth Circles. Between these cities are the border zones where only the outcasts live. Workers are allowed into the main city during the day, but they must be out by nightfall.

The Kadith and the Force:

The Kadith revere the Force and regard it as the source of all living things. Introduced by Keershang over 800,000 standard years ago, the Kadith regard the Force as a standard that they must uphold. The Kadith believe themselves to be blessed of the Force, as prophesized by Keershang and therefore have the right to awaken other races to such a prospect. All Kadith eventually join either the Light or Dark Guilds respectively: Those who choose to devote their lives to the practice of the Force are revered in Kadith society and accorded the highest of honors.

The laws set forth by Keershang and the Sherat require that all Kadith receive at least basic training in the ways of the Force. This law applies in particular to Pilots and Hunters.

The current Guilds within the Empire consist of:

The Light Guild – Founded 8000 years ago by Keershang and his followers. Disciples of the Light Guild concentrate on the trickery and hard work of the Force. Skilled Light Jedi are a precious commodity as they are highly useful for special assignments. Light Jedi do not believe in violence, but will often carry a Lightsaber for protection. Those in the Light Guild live a long, healthy life. As of late, the Light Guild as become increasingly unpopular due to poor decisions by it’s leadership. The Temple of Jepok was burned at the conclusion of the second Revolution and has yet to be rebuilt.

The Dark Guild – Founded 1000 years ago upon the outbreak of the Kadith – Republic War. Disciples of the Dark Guild concentrate on the combat and violence of the Force. Prospective Dark Jedi become proficient early on with the Lightsaber and graduate to increasingly deadlier weapons. All Dark Jedi are skilled Starfighter pilots, and are the only Kadith who can pilot the prototype Mark 4. Dark Jedi will often serve the Empire for only 30 years before wasting away from the immense power that runs rampant in their bodies. The Dark Guild is always on the lookout for new blood.

The Kadith military

The Kadith follow a strict hierarchy in regards to military ranking. Each division has it’s ranks. For instance, Flag Officers often pick up the title Nar, while lesser officers carry the mark of Hetsa. Kadith officers do not wear any specific symbols on their uniforms to identify rank, but are rather permitted to alter their fur patterns and scents to coincide with their rank. In that way, the Kadith can more easily tell a Flag Officer from a Lesser Officer. Specific scents are mandated, but Fur patterns can vary from fleet to fleet.

Flag Officers: Fleet Commanders and their ilk (Note that the Kadith have a tendency to place their honorific in the middle of their names rather then at the beginning. Example: Rhagar Nar Hhallas)

Nar’Ca

Nar’Sa

Nar’Venku

Nar

Lesser Officers:

Hetsa’Di

Hetsa’Ne

Hetsa’Vento

Lak’Dec

Lak’Apsirant

Lo’Es (this rank applies to all below the rank of Lak’Apsirant)

The Greater Kadith Armada:

The Kadith have long been renowned for their skills in the area of Astrogation, and as such have put their talent to good use. At the height of the Republic 1000 years ago, the Kadith Armada consisted of over 25 fleets. Until recently, it was paired down to a modest 13, and as of now stands at 6. Despite this disparity in numbers, the Kadith maintain tactical excellence and superior technology, rendering them very deadly in combat. Each fleet has a specific purpose, and if necessary can be placed together in their respective Battlegroups when needed. As a matter of course, each fleet has a flagship and an Elite Squadron.

The First Fleet – Resa Vilitio (Red Tide)

Function: Katrees Homeguard, Sherat’Nat escort fleet

Flagship: KSC Keershang

Commander: Nar’Ca Jestin Scholae

Elite Squadron: Jaki Squadron (Nar Jevron Tridens)

The elite of the Kadith military, only the best of the best are assigned to the vaunted Resa Vilitio. Commanded by the 300-year military veteran Jestin Scholae and backed up by the infamous Jaki Squadron, the First Fleet of the Armada is indeed a force to be reckoned with. The First Fleet is nominally charged with the defense of Homeworld, but on occasion will provide escort for the Sherat’Nat when they choose to go on a diplomatic tour. The First Fleet underwent major restructuring after the death of Dhakath Khaxki, but now maintains some order in terms of hierarchy. It should be noted that Jaki Squadron is a so-called "Rogue Squadron" in that they are constantly on call and will assist any fleet in needed.

Battlegroup I

The Second Fleet – Mistan Ditsa (Fire Drakes)

Function: R+D test bed, border patrol

Flagship: KMC Ren’Stot

Commander: Nar’Ca Vansees Ghaltain

Elite Squadron: Esplin Squadron

Maintaining patrol at the very fringe of Kadith space, the FireDrakes are a highly secretive fleet that patrols the fringes of Kadith space. Over the years, the FireDrakes have been home to a number of highly classified Kadith "black projects," among them the Genesis Project, the Kadith Mark 2 and 3 and the TDT. At this moment, the whereabouts of the FireDrakes is highly classified, but it is believed that they are test bedding a newly developed starfighter (reports of a fully functional cloaking device abound).

Battlegroup II

The Third Fleet – Ne’Dra’Ventu (The Starriders)

Function: Front lines War fleet

Flagship: KMC Nosomos 2

Commander: Hetsa’Di Riven Dray

Elite Squadron: Jae’Va Squadron

Regarded as the "shooting star" of the armada, the Third Fleet is often the spearhead of a Kadith assault. The Fleet was rather undistinguished until the arrival of Auriga Valkyrie, the great tactical master. The Starriders suffered it’s greatest defeat in orbit about Corneria during the first contact with the Aliroo Alliance. In the ensuing combat, Auriga Valkyrie was killed and much of the fleet lost. The remains limped back to the Katrees Orbital Repair yards, only to be commandeered by Major Fink and the KLO. After the death of Khaxki, the Third Fleet was recommissioned by the Sherat’Nat and placed in the capable paws of Riven Dray. Ambassador Fink is known to have a special fondness for this fleet, often using it as personal transportation to Homeworld (direct flashing is quite prohibited.)

The Fourth Fleet – Vacen Prido (Great Pride)

Function: Planetkiller support

Flagship: KLC Ka’Stavite

Commander: Nar’Ca Vaste Kinsta

Elite Squadron: Arc’maw Squadron

The Vacen Prido is not called out often, but when they are, it inevitably means business. Nar’Ca Vaste Kinsta is known to command the fleet that possesses the only remaining functional Kadith planetkiller. Based in orbit above Ghenna, the Vacen Prido is constantly running training exercises, earning it a reputation for churning out top-notch Lo’Ets, but little else. Until it see’s real combat, the Vacen Prido remains above Ghenna, a mobile training course for prospective pilots and marines.

Battlegroup 3

The Fifth Fleet – Jaden Diotna (Jade Spear)

Function: Rogue Fleet

Flagship: KMC Fir’Ka

Commander: Hetsa’Di Vyladimir Ektrosis

Elite Squadron: Montoni Squadron

Not much is known about this Fleet, it is rarely seen. Vyladimir Ektrosis is known to be a highly eccentric Commander, and the Jaden Diotna is always on the move. More often then not, the fleet simply flies through Hyperspace, waiting for another fleet to get into some sort of trouble.

The Sixth Fleet – Netsa’Ca (The Watch)

Function: Special Operations fleet

Flagship: KLC Cavansa

Commander: Hetsa’Ne Enca Velan

Elite Squadron: N/A

Another little-known fleet. The Nightwatch is rarely sighted, it’s last known position being Corneria to pick up the terrorist forces that had been temporarily stationed there. This fleet is built on the ideal of speed and stealth, and does not have any ships heavier then a Light Cruiser.

The Kadith Army (Kava)

One of the dirtier aspects of the Kadith military, the army is know for speed and power. The Army is divided into three aspects:

Netsa’Ca (Watch) – Special Operations, terrorists, force specialists and assassins.

Gratsas (Groundpounders) – Infantry

Mechtaso (Mechanical Aspects) – Any mechanized ground units

The Kadith Army is built on the ideal that outmaneuvering one’s enemy is better then out muscling him (or her). Your average Kadith marine wears minimal armor and carries a Rapier, Pulse rifle and a few Thermal Grenades (very minimalist). When in combat, a Marine will stalk his prey as if on the hunt, hiding in the shadows and never being so foolish as to run out into the open. If it becomes necessary a battle on openground, the Mechtaso will be called upon, along with their Mechs, Gears, Hover Tanks and War Droids. The average fleet carries at least one division of each for possible ground invasion.

The Greater Kadith Armada

As a spacefaring race that has operated in space for over 6000 standard years, the Kadith are no stranger to the intricacies of Starship and Starfighter Design:

Kivetra Super Cruiser

Designation: KSC, Super Heavy Cruiser

Crew – A minimum of 25,000, including pilots, engineers, med techs and assorted others.

Armament – Interceptors, KX-35 Turbopulse cannons, Advanced concussion missile launchers and one Axial Super laser

Starfighter Compliment: 5 wings of starfighters: 3 Mark 3’s, 1 Mark 2 and 1 Mark One.

# in Service: 3

A super heavy starship that easily rivals the most powerful super cruisers of the Empire, the Kivetra Super Cruiser is a symbol of the continued power bestowed upon the Kadith Republic. Though there are only three of these in service, they can easily match whole fleets and do not go down easily. The only drawback the Kivetra Super Cruiser is the immense cost and manpower that is required for each one.

Rantaro Medium Cruiser

Designation: KMC, Heavy Support Cruiser

Crew: Average of 1200

Armament: Turbopulse cannons, Interceptors and a low powered Axial Super laser.

Starfighter Compliment: 1 full wing of fighters: Four Mark 3 Squadrons, Two Mark 2 Squadrons and One Mark 1 Squadron.

# in Service: 18 (3 per fleet)

The Rantaro is the backbone of the Kadith Armada and an exceptional Cruiser to boot. Built to exemplify speed and power, the Rantaro Medium Cruiser is a force to be reckoned with. Equipped with a lower powered Axial Super laser and a sizable compliment of starfighters, the KMC is quite capable of dealing with most exterior threats. A common Kadith tactic is to have 3 KMC’s working together, with one disabling larger enemy starships with it’s Superlaser while the other two go in for the kill.

Kinci Light Cruiser

Designation: KLC, Light Escort Cruiser

Crew: 130

Armament: 12 Turbopulse cannons, fore mounted Super laser

Starfighter Compliment: 1 squadron can be racked on the exterior for immediate launch

# in Service: 54 (9 per fleet)

The anti-starfighter division of the fleet; cadets and officers in training are often assigned to KLC cruisers. Despite this, their raw power and efficiency often prove overpowering to any Starfighter pilot that may be pursued by a KLC. Light Cruiser’s carry light armament: Eight Omni-directional Mark 2 Turbopulse Cannons and an extremely low powered version of the Axial Super Laser upon the front serve as it’s only armament. Due to this, Light Cruisers are ill suited for capital ship combat and will often stay within the shadow of it’s mother ship.

Note: Kadith Generals have increasingly taken to mating KLC’s with advanced weaponry and gravity well projectors to halt the extensive smuggling activity within the Pirath system.

Starfighters:

The Mark 1

Designation: Medium/light Interceptor

Crew: 1 pilot/1 R9-3 Astronavigation droid

Armament: Two Mark 1 Pulse cannons + Disrupter warheads

– An underpowered artifact from the Kadith-Republic war, the Mark 1 nonetheless remains a force within Dimensional 12. Although outmatched by the Imperial TIE Defender and TIE Advanced, as well as the latest Aliroo and Lylatian developments the Mark 1continues to patrol Kadith installations throughout the Empire.

The Mark 2

Designation: Medium Starfighter

Crew: 1 pilot

Armament: Two Mark 2 Pulse Cannons, multiple missile hardpoints, advanced targeting software.

– Developed by the Dark Guild during the First Revolution, the Kadith Mark 2 proved to be a highly efficient means of removing the Sherat’Nat defenses. Though similar physically to the Mark 1, the Mark 2 is possessing of a number of weapon and engine enhancements as well as a sleek black pain job. Jaki Squadron piloted Mark 2’s until the introduction of the Mark 3 into primary production during the Cornerian campaigns.

The Mark 3

Designation: Interceptor

Crew: 1 pilot

Armament: Four Mark 3 pulse cannons, FLO Shock mines, multiple missile hardpoints, TDT tech

– A high speed Interceptor designed specifically to counter the Aliroo Kalarin during the Cornerian Campaign. Equipped with rebuilt engines, Mark 3 pulse cannons and FLO Shock mines the Mark 3 was an expensive but worthy addition to the Kadith fleet. Initial tests indicated that it was a match to both the Aliroo Gold and Silver, and the newly equipped TDT made it possible for the Mark 3 to jump to any dimension. The Mark 3 met it’s match when the Aliroo’s introduced the Obsidian, but remains a source of constant agitation for any foe to the Kadith.

The Mark 4 –

Designation: Unknown

Crew: Unknown

Armament: Unknown

An experimental starfighter, still in the development stages. Advances in ForceTek and new training procedures may soon produce the next generation of Kadith starfighter. Further details are classified
