You open up her diary, wondering what's inside... You see that each page is marked "Thoughts." You begin to read the first page...
Hello again! My thoughts this time around will be about music. Music in general; Oldies, Light Rock, Current, Classical, even Video Game Music...That kinda stuff. And I have weird taste in music. Ha, so there.

Alrighty, first on the list is... Current Music! So, if you're a musical artist who has bombed, listen up. If you're lucky I might give you some info. If you happen to be Jewel, Dave Matthews, Sugar Ray, or Everclear, Be Afraid. Be VERY Afraid. If you're a member of BNL, be happy! Same thing goes for Queen, Cake, Natalie Merchant, Tori Amos, Kathleen Wilhoit, Everlast and Sara McLachlan. (And to Sarah, if you're reading, you're lucky I got your name right) And to all the "Alternative" bands, read on, you're in here somewhere.

First off, for all you Minnesotans, I am a dedicated listener of the Point (104.1 FM). The Point is awesome, mostly cuz they play PRETTY good music. I also sometimes listen to the Edge. Sometimes. Most of the time it's either The Point or my CDs on the stereo. Anyways. On to music. Music I like: Music that isn't too metal-like. I hate that stuff. I also am not partial to jazz, tho it's a good station to wake up to. I also like Enya, but I fall asleep if I listen too long. Sara McLachlan comes very close to the same thing, but not close enough.

Now, there are a few songs that I like that I don't particularily like the band/artist, or I don't like any other songs. I like "Ironic" by Alanis. I kinda like "Foolish Games" (watch out, crappy redition but the only one I have) by Jewel (other than that I can't stand her). Also, there are songs from bands I like that I don't like. The Old Apartment, by BNL, gives me a headache. And if you think your music I would like, but you are listed in the "Not like" section, you know why? TO MANY TIMES! If the radio plays your song more than once every two hours (ATTN EAGLE EYE CHERRY) I will do my best to burn it. I cannot stand that one song by EEC: Save Tonight. Or the other one. All his songs sound the same. *GAG* A bit of a list of songs that are nice but I don't like because of redundance: Any Moody Blues song (THANKS SO MUCH, DAD *GRIN*), My Heart Will Go On (Story: NEEEEEEEEAR, FAAAAAAAAR, WHEEEREEEEEEVAAAAAAH I am, this song HAUNTS me. Literally.), and, of course, Hands by Jewel. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? My hands are never broken? Huh???

Well, enough b[CENSORED]ing, let's go on to bands and songs I like. I like, at the moment, Bohemian Rhapsody. Yessh... It's the kewlest... And of course, every other song on Queen's Night at the Opera CD. hehehe Other songs... I like all the songs on the Wings CD, particularily Live and Let Die. I think I'll put that in right now. Hang on.

Aiya, can't find it. Anyways. Onwards.

Hey, y'know a song I really like? It's a new one, there aren't even any mp3s out yet. It's "Symphony" by Kathleen Willhoit. Starts out, "Look ahead, and all you see are brick walls." From her album Pitch Like a Girl. If anyone can get me the mp3 or even a good-quality MIDI I would be very thankful.

Next up: Oldies. Let me change the channel to get a first-hand perspective. My god, a BBQ sauce commercial. Blah, go away. *waits* While I'm waiting I'll blab on about oldies. I like the Beatles, and I also like Diana Ross. Sorta. I don't remember anymore. I like Jim Croche, and some other miscelaneous oldies. Cyndi Lauper is kewl, too. I used to listen to this channel all the time (*shudder*). Now, I know the Point doesn't exactly play new songs all the time, but at least they have bands that are still making new songs! You listen to KQQL 108 for a month and you've heard all the songs. Kinda sad, huh? All the songs from the 60's to the 70's, crammed into one station, one month. Oh well. They're all about the same thing; I wanna go with him, blah blah, not much different from songs nowadays. Tho songs today almost certainly have either a swear word or "sex" in them. C'mon, there's one called "Sex and Candy." Oooh, that sounds fun. not

Ah here we go. Beach Boys, "California Girls", a sick little song about girls. Why do I have the MIDI? I don't know! Just because. It's kinda a nice tune, for a beach boys song. Anyways. *sings* I wish they all could be california girls... *grin* What's this? Oh this is a nice song. Kinda. I don't know the words. I used to. Anyhow. Enough oldies, let's go on to WLTE: heh heh heh

Don't know this song. Or this one. Or... AAAAAAAAIE!!!!!! DIE!!!

We're sorry, we're having technical difficulties. Please stay tuned.

*ahem* Okay, we're back, with a new radio---er.... nevermind...yeah *nervous laugh*

Ooh, here's the classical station. Violins.. umm... That's all... let's see, anything else? .... Apparently not. Okay, done with Classical. Byebye!

Here's the Country station. There goes the country station!

What's this? Sheryl Crow? KDWB! Made it. :P Gross! A guy swallowed a [censored]! BLAH! Why do we want to hear this?? Dave Ryan in the morning! AIIIE!! Okay, we have some.. Let's see, I believe this is... a Surge commercial. Blah. C'mon, I'm writing a whiny web page!! Play some songs already!! *drums her fingers on the table, waiting*

*commercials should all be burned. And yes, I am one of those 9 people not watching It's Like, You Know, and Norm. SO THERE! GET OFF MY BACK ABOUT IT! I am very sick of these stupid monopoly mcdonald's game! I don't care!! I don't eat at McDonalds already!! Just shut up, we all know how it works. And yes, someone DID say McDonalds... I DID! Oh, oh, oh! They're finally gonna play music! Wait, traffic first... yes, yes, yes... play the music...c'mon....*

Yeah! Music. Let's see. OH GACK! I hate this music. Bubye! *click*

Whew, it's nice to be back at The Point. That song makes me physically ill. BSB shall all burn in the near future.

Alrighty, on to Video Game Music! Yessh!! Video Game Music I like: Lufia 2, Zelda 64, Star Fox 64 and some Mega Man games. Music that bugs me: Castlevania. And some Mario tracks. And most Pokémon music bugs me as well. heh.

Well, that is all for now! The quote of the month is:

Dave: You jump to conclusions.
Jimmy: I stand still, the conclusions jump to me!

Adieu, Adieu, to you and you and ewe!
