The JFK Class belongs in the USN Space Fleet. All the ships in this class were built by AeroTech Space Division in Newport News, Virginia and assembled at James Lovell Orbital Assembly Facility.

This carrier grosses 646,269 Tons when light, and 890,755 Tons under a full load. They are 525.6m long, 245.1m in the beam, 185m tall (comprised of 74.4m draft, 67.7m of superstructure and 40.2m of LIDAR dome).

Her original armament was to include 13 LASER Cannon batteries, but AeroTech has yet to prove such a weapon to be reliable. Hard points exits for a 1.2 GW, 2 x 450 MW, 6 x 300 MW and 4 x 50 MW LASER Cannons. They are fitted at this time with 30 Phalanx II Missile Launchers and 72 KEW/Torpedo Launchers.

The JFK Class Carrier use a He3 Fusion Drive as her primary propulsion system in conjunction with a Bussard Ramjet for increased fuel savings. When used with the inertialess drive, this class can obtain speeds of [CLASSIFIED] light years per day. In case of catastrophic engine failure, 3 Emergency Chemical Rocket Engines may be used to bring the ship to a halt.

Without FTL, this class of SCVN can attain speeds of 0.96c under an acceleration of 3.9g. She is powered by 2 MF3600 Fusion Reactors with life spans of 7 years.
