The CE Code of Ethics are the rules, code of behavior, and things this realm requires of its citizens in order for all to have a fun and enjoyable stay here. If you wish to be a citizen please read these principles and abide by them as a matter of habit.
These are the third edition rules as of 27-JULY-01
- Respect all citizens of Celestial Eclipse.
- All are equal in the eyes of the government and the people here. Never use your rank to lord it over others, but also never question your elders or leaders. If a leader is out of line, bring it to the attention of Empress Khandaras and it will be dealt with justly.
- All citizens must have or get ICQ, the FREE instant message system most commonly used by B.net players in order to communicate with other citizens.
-Your ICQ number will be share with other citizens unless you request it to be held secret.- Have fun. This is a game. (We call it a Realm, a Kingdom with citizens, a million other things, but ALL is based on a GAME... so have FUN with it!)
- No form of cheating, including trading items with non-legit characters, is allowed. Citizens will be expect to never cheat, use hacks, dup items, or use other non-legit means to get ahead. A citizen caught cheating will be brought before the tribunal, judged, and, if guilty, executed by his/her peers.
- Each unique item found can earn you points. There are two ways to claim points for unique items.
- First, you can simply take a screenshot of your uniques and mail it to the email address provided when you join. However, with this method, each unique can only be turned in ONCE. If you find Frostburn Gaunlets 3 times, then great, but you only get the points once. This elminates the temptation to dup or cheat.
- Second, if you are playing a game with another guild member and a unique item is found, it can also be claimed for points. Both members MUST verify that the unique was found in that game, and that it is unidentified. A guild founder, or player with 2000+ points, needs to identify the item. Once this is done, notify me via email or ICQ, and the points will be given to all the players that were in the game in which the item was found.
- Celestial Eclipse has 7 clans. These clans are seperated by character class (e.g. Amazon, Druid, etc.) To join CE, you must pick one character class, or clan, that you wish to be in. You can play with any type of character and earn points, however, all the points will be added to give you a rank within the class/clan you choose when you join.
- Celestial Eclipse will have a monthly guild meeting. No one is required to attend, however, points will be given to those that do. It will also give you a chance to have your say, meet people, and have more fun. The date and time will be posted on the HOME page at the beginning of each month, a few weeks in advance. The date/time WILL change to allow more people the flexiblity to attend. A summary of each meeting will also be sent out via email.
- Tags are not required. However, @cE is the offical Celestial Eclipse tag that is found at either the end of or in the middle of a citizens name. For example, names can be written KittieKat@cE or kat@ce.meow
Marauders Diablo Guild used :(M): for the tags. These tags are still used also.- Celestial Eclipse will have no official allies or enemies. Citizens may play games with anyone they trust and may challenge any other player to a duel as they see fit. Added points can be earned for helping fellow guild members.
- We do not support or ban pk'ing so long as it is done without cheats. Killing players of much lower level is not encouraged.
- Currently we do not track or award members with LADDER scores, however, that may change in the future.
